Play on the AUS/NZ servers, they are full even when it's night. The reason why I don't like playing on night is because it is far too hard to see when there's no moonlight out

I've played solo many times, it is harder but definetely possible. Hit up supermarkets/residential for the matches they aren't that hard to find, tbh I find a compass harder to find than matches :/ It's good if its better to work with others because it gives you an incentive to work with others instead of shooting on sight

Probably have a chat. Yesterday was the first time I decided to not shoot on sight and it was a bit strange. Watching somebody walking around alive in my face and I kinda like it

Oh this is difficult :( Winchester has a bit more variety to it, I took out 3 players grouped together with it once but the ammo is rare and enfield just so good at killing players

You address my issues perfectly. Great game when you first start out, but once you get the mechanics down you start to run out of ideas. Raiding NWAF, getting this awesome military loot then what? I guess I could keep going back for loot but then it just feels like a 3rd person shooter diablo which is not what I'm looking for in a game. If Rocket can implement that eve-like capital buildings he was talking about that would be great to give it more replayability such as raiding forts or holding down areas

Yep the iron sights are dodgy. You have to aim slightly lower than you normally would. Anyone know if the m4a1 m203 is better? I love the underslung but the sights are a real issue

The problem with dayz, is lack of creativity from people :) Last night I joined up with 2 others and we tried to hold the north firestation in elektro at night. Was epic fun when you are low on ammo and flares and have to go venturing 1 at a time to always hold the firestation

How will the hive server deal with DC/kicks? For example I usually play on US servers because all the aus/nz ones are full however some of these servers kick for high ping and I might go through 4 servers a night trying to find the server that doesn't kick me for ping

Biggest thing I'm concerned about is if I break my legs and there are no zombies around

It's definetely not insta kill I think it depends on where you get hit. I had an enfield fight with another player at 10m range, I killed him but he didn't kill me (on 1000 blood) when we shot each other

It's stories like these they get. The knowledge that so many people are raging at them and there is nothing you can do about it

ANZ 7 seems to have its own hive server running or something like that. Whenever i go on there I have a seperate character than the rest of the servers

Had my first hacker experience last night :/ They were invisible opening and closing the door of a supermarket then me and a mate got shot in the head by 2 bullets very fast. Then my other 2 mates witnessed a tractor spawn in front of them and then they got shot

I have a theory about the loot not spawning. From what I've read the loot will not spawn if there are players within the vicinity, so high traffic areas like cherno/elektro they won't spawn loot because there are people around, whereas some of the other places such as Zelenogorsk will always have loot because there are less people around. I feel your pain OP, 2 nights ago I was in your boat struggling to find tin cans, but last night I managed to find an enfield, colt, food/water and backpack all in 2 high value residential in cherno on a highly populated server

I've noticed this too :/. I seems to have something to do with clothes I though. So when I was wearing the normal clothes I would run slightly slower than my mate who had the black clothes

You should try playing on a full nighttime server. Completely different experience. I had one guy throwing chemlights around cherno and you get twichy over the slightest change in graphics

I would like to see some more. It seems like those that have the vehicles hoard them in a special location. Maybe not trucks but at least ATV's or motobikes

I believe the main reason is because alot of people only bought arma 2 for Day z. So in their eyes they've paid $30 for a game and feel entitled to an opinion and what they think is unfair and ruining the $30 that they spent, when in actual fact they've bought a game and there is a nice free addon on top of that

ATVs on bridges don't go well xD. Driving one over a bridge and I did a double front flip then landed on my side

Well for starts you won't get anything 'good quality' for $400. That price range you'll be looking at a terrible cpu, terrible gpu (9600 gt prollly), minimal monitor etc. The monitor alone will eat up 1/4 of your budget. I don't think you can get a pre built for that cheap I'm afraid

For me, attempting to walk through doors at the same time killing your teammate. And I would love to fly a chopper

In case you're not aware hackers mainly hack to see posts like these. If you don't rage as much you take away their satisfaction
