No crosshair and can't aim with iron sights anymore

maybe u had a gadget in focus? (grenade, flare etc) or lowered your weapon? if thats the case 1. cycle through your inventory using the f key, to focus on a weapon 2. click ONE time leftmousebutton to ready your weapon 3. CLICK (not hold) the rightmousebutton to aim down the sights if that doesnt work check your bindings, else reinstall the mod, else reinstall the beta patch, else reinstall the game, else you're screwed :) -

adding morphine as start equiment would be a terrible idea... dropchances outside hosptals are so small... think about it, where would u get your morphine supplies IF newly spawned players would have a morphine shot on em? ;) so a solution would be: a) increase the drop chance a bit b) make the chance of gettin a fracture from zed attacks decrease alot, and add something like strains that wont allow u to run (cureable by painkillers) or c) BEFORE u wander chernarus make sure to visit cherno and get a stockpile of morphine... :) -
well, put on some frickin clothes and heal it :)

if u have the steam version make sure that under options (six updater) the steam box is UNCHECKED and the beta box is CHECKED also the mod folder must be the same as the game folder

yeah i would like to see SMALL encampments across the norther half of the map... there are a couple of clearings offroad where small camps would be a nice addon... but what i would REALLY like to see are more enterable buildings in the small cities... -

yeah the "bug" in 1.7.1.1 was great maybe a bit too rare... but cans should really spawn less. and also canteens, make em RARE as they are effectivly an infinitive ressource of water -

OMG thank u so much... this is the FIRST time someone gave me these instructions... holy moly, good thing i didnt stated in early posts, that i already did the exact same steps... otherwise u would have looked like an arrogant little kid who's just reposting stuff we already tried. even though, i must say, u tried to help us in a really nice and charming way btw the problem solved itself, i dont know if it was the latest clientpatch or some serverside update... EDIT: well... exept for the occational "getting stuck at loading screen" bug :) -

ok, so i deleted the dayz folder, downloaded the files, installed them manually, installed the latest beta patch, running the game through the beta exe and going on servers with the EXACT version i have (1.7.1 @93825) and still most of the time no sound, missing info window, hear/sight indikators showing always no bars or gettin stuck on the loading screen ...i guess the patch-launch had gone horribly wrong :) well its an alpha so lets hope it gets fixed soon^^ -

changelog says that is patch related EDIT: ok, i runned the game throught the beta shortcut in the CO folder, now i am visible again and i found some loot. but alle the other bugs are still there (no sound exept when clicking on stuff in the inventory etc) -

watched the video. i'm having the same problem, exept i didnt respawn so i still hang out around a airfield and it seems that the sound is off. so no sound when walking or shooting off my guns. when i go to the airfield the landscape seems kinda strange... no zeds, no loot, even no dead military bodies nor damaged vehicles/rubble piles also the info window wich contains information on bleedlevel murders etc is gone and the hear/sight indicators are still there but not working (always showing zero bars) i installed the latest beta patch, though arma says in tiny letters on thebottom of the screen: version 1.60.43385 i deleted the @dayz folder, and manually installed the latest patch (torrent download DE server). -still same problem i deleted the @dayz folder, and updated through the six updater. -still same problem running arma 2 combined operations on steam -

happened right now to me too... crashed heli, lot of heavy zeds around, heli has "burning" sound effect but no visual effect and the minigun has a "frozen" muzzleflash was about 6am servertime on RU1 version 1.6.0.1 -
