I think our zombie friend is a little on the hefty side. I'm guessing purely done as a skinnier zed didnt quite make the logo POP as the artist wanted. Whatever is on that sign is enough to warrant 3 bullet holes.

Only video I have published of a base of this magnitude, but I've seen several in the early days of DAYZ. Assuming they just duped the hell out of sandbags and other items as it was pretty easy back then.

small story on current "record" holder. 10 minute break earned per hour? so for every 24 hours you can earn 4 hours of sleep. don't know about you guys but I used to get 4-5 hours a sleep a day and cycle to work 16 miles round trip. This game requires skill and forces you to not be a noob and shoot at anyone you see, especially when you are part of a "Team" with your friends. It is a penalty of being a bad player and not communicating with your group. This is a great example and why I love this game. YOUR ACTIONS COUNT !!! Edit (Not my video)

Crosshairs need to go, followed by player name tags... I find it interesting people bring up the point of not being able to access tents, ladders, doors, gates etc... isn't it about time we SCRAP the entire system to begin with? shouldn't there just be a button which acts as "interact" and every door have a radius near it, stand next to a door facing it and press the hotkey and BAM door/gate/tent opens? I've been wishing for an interact key since I've started playing, perhaps now is the time to consider such a thing.

perhaps you should consider the fact that the army moved in to all the major cities, which is why you see sandbags, barbed wire, and even fireboxes as the army attmpted to control the zombies. not to mention the destroyed vehicles. You should THINK that when the SHIT hit the fan people were fighting at every inch of the city trying to stay alive. I suppose you've never seen a zombie movie or have an imagination? SA is going to introduce so many new weapons (civilian type and crafted I'm sure it will lower the overall amount of high-end military weapons, but your initial point is still invalid) I think it is silly to say you should NEVER find X in Y because of this... rebuttle?

I agree, I was conisdering voting on this poll until I realized it made hardly any sense. Once SA is out there is really no reason to play the mod. Custom servers are out of control with infinite vehicles and weapon loadouts on spawn. I'd like to spend some time in dayz 2017 but within an hour I encountered "thunderdome" (which I hate to say because its 2 men enter 1 man leaves, god damn idiots out there) AND a flying tank. so yea... I know so many people dislike chernarus but I don't understand how, its a large map and once we CAN enter all buildings PLUS all the new buildings it will make the map so much more colourful. I think most people dislike chernarus because they favor the smaller maps for fast-action PVP, which is fine, but not what this game should be all about. Of course the majority of people will get SA leaving the script kiddies behind which only means a larger concentration of those players on a server.

If anything a ghillie should attract more zombies, sweat like hell in those things, which would help zombies smell you out... How would this be useful in a practical sense? Shouldn't be firing loud weapons within zombie audible range to begin with. I assume your annoyed with them chasing you thru open fields? Either way they are both examples of just bad playing... Trying to kill players? well if you are a sniper you should be on the edge of town safe from zombies and if you aren't thats just more incentive to not miss as you'll have to deal with the player and all your angry new friends. Sounds like to me you just want more of an edge against other players. Above everything... If done right you can SHIFT Crawl almost anywhere... so... no to your suggesstion.

an easier idea would be to introduce larger sizes of bottles ingame. such as a gallon jug, or even a water barrel to setup at camp which could just auto-fill via some imaginary rain-capture technique.

You apparently have never been camping in your life... 1. (Smoke) What causes it? Green wood vs Dry Wood. Wet wood when burned creates a terrible smoke, whereas dry wood, really does not. Sure it DOES produce smoke but not a dark black tar smoke. Smoke from a chimney stack is most commonly heat interacting with the weather and NOT actually smoke. How far do you think smoke from a dry wood fire is visible from in terms of real life? Having a fire at night creating a source of light is understandable, HELL, it is VERY visible already ingame. I forget the exact measurement, but i'm fairly confident I could see (from testing purposes) a fire from our base at night 500-800 meters away. Your 2nd and 3rd points require no comment because of the sheer lunacy involved with them.

I've been fixated at this picture of kamenka facing east trying to spot new goodies and the only thing I can see is one extra house and what appears to be a burn site for corpses (big brown thing in screen) it has what seems to be dirt trails coming down from the road in 2 locations. What is the mystery behind this picture?

is it just me or is the survivor a little fuzzy? mainly the white shirt. If other people see it too, maybe try a hero skin or even a ghillie?
