Not only for DAYZ, or rocket, but to finally start showing game companies you can't mass produce crap because we have no other choice where to spend it. It is actually quite hard for me to find a gamer who hasn't heard of DAYZ. They may not have played it, but they have had a friend that did and would tell stories everyday at the water cooler. Also Having a friend that showed them a video. I also have several friends that refuse to play it as a mod and are waiting for SA. The Day it hits steam you are looking at 100k immediate sales, I bet 250 the first week. I just wish those sale numbers will be released to us at some point. I't be neat to see. A purchase for DAYZSA is a purchase for a better pc gaming experience. I can't wait to buy rocket's NEXT game let alone DAYZ !!!

Different tent graphics, I'm all for, but I'm a scavenger, and I can very easily fill up a normal tent with 50 items, 7 weapons and 3 tools. not sure how you came up with these numbers, but small and medium tents are just a big FU. Considering how, when i played 12 hours on each of my days off and found 4-5 cars but not 1 tent.

The dinner bell was also "The Great Eaqulizer" because it did kill players in 1 shot. doing 12k? 12.5? someting monsterous like that. its incredibly accurate for such a easy to find gun. I don't know anything about 6kish damage, but the dinner bell has been 8k ever since they nerfed it from 12k.

I think it is safe to say, for A LOT of people, fixing and flying first chopper. Prior to that... would have to be my group of friends finding a bus. Which of course, was the first vehicle we ever found. 6 idiots in a bus without a care in the world.

helicopters are... okay... man the AN-2 I LOVE THAT THING !!! my passengers complain a bout me flying at an alt of 50 but w/e you should load up arma 2 and play armex until it spawns the AN-2, good practice !!!

you definitely are missing something... the biggest problem i've noticed (even myself) is setting your memory setting ingame to high versus default. as default has no limitations compared to the other settings have predetermined values. definitely need to tweak with your settings more, trial and error. have you followed any of the guides.

Probably because not a single rifle in-game has an actual sling on it? pretty sure slings have been suggested a few times and hopefully we see something down the road. I remember when my 3 point sling arrived in the mail and i went to attach it. I was immediately humbled by my inability to figure out how to properly set it up. How do you know that this 3rd person wasn't part of that group? the two of them had just checked hangars/radio tower and the 3rd guy said "Meet you at the van, I'll check the firehouse", he runs over and goes up the tower while your shooting his buddies? it sucks getting sniped when you've been on foot for several hours and get to the ural spawn and hear a crack in the distance, but you had just previously been in combat. I know alot of "snipers" don't deserve credit for the crap they do in this game, but is it also possible this random guy saw you kill those 2 guys and SMARTLY decided to take up position and wait for you? Of all the places to sit 24/7 I highly doubt the NE airstrip is the place to go, not to mention... wouldn't he have already killed those 2 guys before you?

Simple Question. People out there trying to come up with new idea's for named items ingame that are obviously more realistic sounding, less offensive, blah blah blah whatever. Question I was wondering, how do you pronounce some of your handles? even better would you prefer a different name be used for an object? example SmashT_AU. pronounced what? Smashed? Smashed Aussie Beer. Picture of kangaroo with sunglasses. BAM. finished. next. OR... is that an incorrect interpretation? see my question. I know several mods have come out saying they never asked for anything to be put in their name, but if the community wants to do something, surely we should know how to pronounce mzly zzly? or... at least know if there is an alternative nickname people call you IRL, like... Jim-bob. I think something like this would surely help some people be MORE creative in the names they come up with. Or, at least figure out something for people like UBQ-bad guy. Could just say Bad-Guy Bandit Beans. yea very little thought going on here. you want to make it so players can choose to be non-pvp, therefor invincible. So player A could tell his buddies where you are, or even better he steals your vehicle and you have a clean-shot but can't do diddly. items like painkillers and morphine are single use for a reason, they force you to CHOOSE what you carry, be that more food, ammo, or medicine. The foundation of the game, choice.

no way in hell do they decrease offline, that would just be beyond harsh. you probably logged out too soon before character updated. should wait to drink the next time you play or run around for a bit to ensure it updates.

Standalone DAYZ is still going to be an alpha, and probably will be alpha up to DEC, even more? who knows... Point is, things will be ever-changing, and talking about things like this, is beyond pointless. There are many systems we will just simply have to test. It wouldn't surprise me if the dev team hasn't agreed on a number at this time.

its a better gameplay experience. your on VOIP with your buddies and one of them is shouting "WTF I'M BEING HELD UP", WHAT DO I DO? is a much better experience than them shouting they just got sniped from god knows where. makes better stories too. OBVIOUSLY.

I'd have to say NO Graphics Processing Type: Dedicated Graphics it can be a scary thought, but building your own PC is really the way to go. if you have an old computer you can "toy" with that, you must have a friend, relative, neighboor who is capable of helping you IRL in this day and age. (EDIT) just noticed its ATI Radeon HD6670 2GB dedicated graphics card it should be able to "run" the game... still, your not looking at "cutting-edge" technology and probably better to build your own.

because the debug monitor has really ZERO effect on your gameplay. it just doesn't. you can't argue it. the only thing POSSIBLE is the blood meter, but really.. is the screen blurry? is the color not so bright? eat some food or use a bloodbag. its an EPEEN (that means Electronic-Penis) for all the tards who want to see the players killed stat. Epeen has been around as long as gaming online. My friends and I have always called it a epeen meter.

I wasn't trying to attack you matt, I apologize if it came off that way. it's just the 9mm round is the perfect example for why we needed a new system. Just look at the PDW ( uzi ) for example. You can waste primary inventory space to carry MP5 ammo or carry G17/M9 clips. Obviously, you have the PDW mag itself which has 30 shots and doesn't use primary INV space (which thanks to rarity isn't that common, making it golden imho). So all this does, is force you to use the other ammo before you even consider the PDW clip. Vs the ability to simple manually reload your larger clip.
