This has to do with not having enough room in the desired location (your bag) and it getting deleted. what you should be doing is either.... 1. drop your ammo on the ground, transfer gun to bag, pickup ammo. 2. transfer items to a gear icon or corpse, transfer gun to bag, pickup ammo from corpse or gear grabbing a gun out of a tent, or picking up a weapon and automatically getting all the ammo is a nice feature while on the run, time is of the essence. If you grab a weapon from a tent and there is 12 ammo clips and you only have 2 spots in your inventory, those items are going bye bye. I don't think its a "bug" as much as unfinished coding :)
