I think your best bet is to take a week off and wait for next patch which will force you to spawn back within the terrain. -
some guns arent in the game for a reason. keeping a "hacked" weapon is still cheating. don't be that guy

servers are annoying... setup camp on server, have it good. server disappears... move to new server because Clan X is full of jackasses, finally move all your equipment... new server dies... My favorite is logging into a different server and it wiping all your gear... those are always fun !!! can't wait for stable standalone game with official dayz servers -
SUGGESTION: Add some Leveling or progression system, even if you still lost all items when you die.

It would be interesting to see a MMO style character select screen with each server having different unique characters, and each server hosting a different map. Regardless the maps for dayzgame would IMHO need to be larger.... much larger. 50 people servers are too small as is. however... if EVERY single building becomes enterable as rumoured... a small map like chernarus becomes more viable in where you can go other than the same 5 spots -
You know nothing about the game if you suggest this. regen over time? no. so you can carebear in a tree to full health? Risk vs Reward. Should I shoot that cow and make noise? Run down into that clearing and gut it? should I run to the supermarket? is someone there already? I could go on and on about the basic fundamentals of this game, and regen over time is by far one of the biggest things that would ruin this game.

pretty sure in another post it said vehicles outside server boundary are reset after 6 hours, even then. you see their camp? go raid it. OR... just toss a nade or two (Edit. Also... how do u know they are duping tents? I've had 15 setup in the same spot before all legit)

You really should consider isolating the problem if you haven't. Tried running any other games? try running a benchmark program like 3dmark? have you tried a clean install for drivers? tried a registry cleaner? should consider using your install disc, if not, try beta drivers?

Rommel and SSguys you can't complain about. What if SS stands for Silly Squirrel? Whats wrong with Rommel? its a frikkin name. which happens to be the name of a German General. Hitler and Nazi I can see, but you just cant ban whoever you want because there is a "slight" implication. I ban people all day @ work. you have to think about these things from a professional standpoint and not your personal feelings.

if I'm just out and about, you can pretty much bet I'm carrying a winchester. That thing is powerful, has range, and is fairly quiet. I also of course, carry something in my bag capable of dropping a player if the situation arises and I need to defend myself.

My friend last night was coughing... so we ran back to camp... he got down to 2k health and I reluctantly started to bandage/bloodbag him. he was fine afterwards. logged in today and he was fine. we started going down the road (without fighting any zombies) and he started coughing again non-stop even tho he was just fine for the past 15 minutes. my other friend and I had him go down to the beach where we blasted him. thats how you cure "infection". old fashioned purge !!!

Light source suggestion (For night)

remmington with a flashlight was pretty much all anyone needed if they didn't have NVG, however... it being 2 shots a kill now, its quite lame.... and if you never played with that weapon in the past, you really missed out imho. I don't think everyone in the game should be able to get an easy light source. I think the balance of light, light brightness, and rarity of light sources is where it needs to be. -

One of my friends killed another one of my friends for being in basecamp and not being in teamspeak. He thought we were being raided and dropped the guy. The paranoia, the excitement, the adrenaline rush, the I JUST CRAPPED MY PANTS moments in this "game" are why I play. PVP is what it is, please refer to one of the 8000 other pvp rant posts Bottom line, Best $30 bucks I've ever spent. -
