Lex (DayZ)

any other ideas? I dont really want to log in and die again to repeat the process, it'd be a shame to let all the stuff go to waste.

Hi guys, As the title pretty much explains, my play (IGN: Lex) is stuck inbetween a hill and piece of wall which already killed me once, and upon returning to grab my gear i accidentally into the same hole. I managed to disconnect before it killed my character (sorry if that's cheating ^^) and was wondering if theres any chance of salvation for my survivor and his gear. The only reason I ask is that I just came across my new gun at said glitch spot - and really want to test it on some zeddlenburgers. If there's no chance, thanks anyway Lex

Maybe you're just not very good at the game, maybe try being more cautious and put yourself in the positions to see the survivors first, and rather than waiting for them to see you and shoot just gtfo if your paranoia overcomes your willingness to trust anyone.

I think what he's getting at is the windows accessibility* thing which allows you to connect xbox controllers to the system and use them. I find mouse and keyboard for this game much easier, especially communicating with others. "Friendly?!?"

Anyone else found an area on the map they regard as 'safe' or almost a home. I was just wondering as over the past few days me and my small group have spent a large amount of time in the same area of forest, which we know like the back of our hand if any trouble comes our way. So, anyone else do this? and perhaps has anyone set up a small community somewhere (other than the dead reddit guys)? Lex

Similar situation to my own, except the last game I invested in was Battlefield 2. Loving this mod and just really wish I had a decent enough system to play it on something other than low

some back corridors/fire escapes etc much like dead rising esque but downsized and edited to fit the era?

Something like this would be cool, but not to the extent that makes it too structured or regimented and somehow keep it a real sandbox game. Not too sure how
