I believe the persisting thing is impossible on the current engine. Or Rocket et al tried it and couldn't get it to work.

Back on topic when ZN started playing we could effectively lock down Elektro with Fifteen people, but there are communication difficulties in coordinating that many people in a single teamspeak channel. Friendly fire happens, people get told to shut the fuck up, tensions rise. It's a legitimate concern for large groups, typically the best results come from several smaller groups collaborating.

I think that happens sometimes when you get shot by a weapon not in the game. Or at least an ammunition type. DayZ doesn't recognize it so it doesn't generate a lootable body, just a dead one.

Basically, a texture tears and projects in line segments, lighting your screen up like a disco ball with visual anomalies that can get so intense that you can't move while looking in a plane they project to. For weeks people couldn't go to the NWAF or to Stary. Weeks. Then a couple fixes hit the forum and it was manageable, but still pretty fucking terrible. But it did exactly like you said, returned vehicles to their spawn on restart. -
