I mentioned that these threads generate negative press, which in turn might dissuade potential buyers, which in turn translates into market pressure to fix the problem. I was stating an analysis of the situation not a grievance. -

I'm all for making the weapons more region realistic, I mean an Eastern European warlord would likely have hundreds of AK's, AN's, and VZ's but I doubt they'd have much in the way of western weapons (if only due to market pressure). And for fucks sake rebuff 5.45 ammunition's damage value. If anyone was looking for a reason not to take this dude seriously, besides the fact that he's a bald-faced troll, this would be it. -

You're right, there should be several iterations of guns that have produced maybe 10,000 units each, but a gun that has a multitude of variants, has seen service with dozens of countries, and has sales stats in the millions, fuck that there shouldn't be any of those. Making judgements based on a pattern of behavior is completely reasonable, hence my saying so. Assuming that I'm only talking about the mod is unreasonable, the engine has been on market for 3 years. -

I understand this completely. Your statement implied a connection between modability and weak code. That's not the case. ARMA II is moddable and has weak code. SC2 is moddable and does not have weak code. -

There is far more value in threads concerning hackers than a thread whining about hacker threads. If a person were to come to these forums and see the thousands upon thousands of complaints, bans and stories and decide that the dev's were incompetent and that they shouldn't waste their money with the stand-alone that would be a perfectly reasonable conclusion. Granted there's more to it than that, but it's still perfectly reasonable. -

Why is Vysoky Kamen so popular as a campsite? Hell you can scout it from the road. I would at least put it in Tolga.
