  1. I kinda want to see the effect an Epipen would have on a goat. I kinda want to see what Morphine + Epi would do to a goat. Imagine, you come up on a field, and you hear a goat Bah'ing its head off, frantically spinning around in a circle on its side because only two of its legs aren't numb. You should lose humanity just for laughing at that.
  2. And for disruptive exploitation, what qualifies as disruptive is left to the discretion of the admin, and considering the current network hierarchy rightly so.
  3. It's not a bug it's a feature. We get 2500 every time we play and decide deliberately not to be an asshole, whereas bandits can get to 7 figures sniping bambis.

    Anything for a MK 48

I'll trade you a MK48 for 3 Bear Traps and an RGO.

    Anything for a MK 48

Go Grey Market boy, don't let these ninnies badger you.

    ...I was so very wrong.

Part of the metagame is exploitation of finite resources, killing hackers or raiding a hacker box and taking their shit is perfectly in line with that, especially when it confers an advantage.

    ...I was so very wrong.

It's an indicator. Not a reliable one, but a potential one nonetheless.

    Vehicle Creation System

No, I agree it would be total bullshit. To make it more believable you could require a building like a shop/garage or a factory, but that starts to sound like one of those masturbatory end game fantasies you see posted to suggestions and probably would get laughed out of a "DayZ Standalone" design meeting.

    Vehicle Creation System

Right click blueprints, script runs checksum on parts, if X=1≥1 remove 1=1 parts, spawn vehicle coordinates +2 meters.
  10. To be fair he did specify that he doesn't shoot people he trades with.

    Hacker bypass battleye?

The current public variable exploit can be remedied by uploading the newly available modifications from CBL. At least in part.
  12. I typically run up shouting "HEY BUDDY!" People think I'm Canadian and run away. :( That's only when I see somebody first though. Otherwise I just wind up getting shot in the fucking back.
  13. Considering at present there are five civilian weapons that's not a surprise, six if you count the crossbow. But making military grade weapons unreliable for balance would be pure pants on head retarded. Modern military weapons are designed to be easy to maintain, to fire tens of thousands of rounds in a lifetime, to be reliable in the worst possible conditions.
  14. Well, once you have a decent rifle, a canteen, matches, an axe, and a hunting knife there is nothing else you need. So why even keep playing? Stuff you can find in 30 minutes of play can keep you alive forever (barring skiddy attack), so what do? Sit out in the woods forever? I get emergent gameplay, but seriously, most of the time DayZ isn't a Survival Game, it's a hiking simulator.
  15. You're surprised? I called it as a troll thread six posts in. But clearly despite the initial troll, there's a spectrum of opinions on the topic. How the dev's intend to address that I dunno, we'll see.
  16. You might in the aftermath of a Russia v. NATO conflict, or if NATO had attempted to assist with the zombie containment. What's really confusing is finding Enfields and Colt Governments all over the place in civilians homes. That's just laughably wrong.
  17. I said you were arguing from ignorance once (implied really). It's not something you can make up guy, I can click (2) and see it for myself. I restated my point, and posited that you were, in fact, mad. I'm sorry that mommy and daddy think you're a disappointment, but it doesn't make me a basement dweller (I can post from my 9 to 5 job) and it doesn't make you right. :) But since you're too stupid to read subtext, allow me to state plainly, I think they are taking the issue seriously, but the perception that they're not could cost them marketshare, thus ensuring that they either put up or shut up.

    I actually did it

I don't believe you, posting video momentarily. Just shot this, not by any means scientific, taking requests for additional testing.
  19. Repeating your points doesn't make them any more applicable to my original statement. My concerns were never a topic of discussion, my only point was regarding the thousands of threads reporting and complaining about hackers, and the dozens more that pop up daily and the effect they might have on a prospective buyer. This is irrelevant of the actual reality of the situation as I've said previously in the thread. Maybe you can have one of your psychologist parents explain to you the reality vs. perception disconnect, and when you do you can come back and we can have a discussion on its marketing implications. :)
  20. Just a minor note but the ACR program ended without result. There's a rifle called the ACR, but it hasn't seen widespread deployment with any military.
  21. Here's where you fucked up, you keep assume I'm talking about myself, instead of underlining the fact that these complaints about hackers may ultimately be beneficial in that they convince other people to withhold their money until the game is properly secured. And you're not lying, you're only being intellectually dishonest about what I'm arguing, hence my accusation that you're arguing from illusory competence. I live in the real world, and in the real world people are judged by the results of their labor. For example, you can't read, BI can't write robust code and I'm kind of an asshole.
  22. One: I'm 26. Two: I can spell two. Three: I know the difference between griping and analysis. Four: I know what I'm talking about. Five:
