All you need is a rifle or something with decent range. Go as far as possible and pop off 2 or 3. They wont aggro you. Only the one you shot. Opens up a lane for you to approach. Be careful of that one monkey zombie that always seems to come bouncing toward you while your looting

You log on and you know that your character is somewhere in the nw airfield Loading times are a pain so you tab out and browse internet You tab back into game when you think its almost ready Somehow you accidentally click the fire button as the screen is black and your tabbing back in. BAM BAM BAM shots ring out loud as hell through the airfield . NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO they know im here ... i must run

Hehe sort of, I server hop not so much to catch people unawares or to loot, but to find a busy airfield so i can pvp. Ill often log on somewhere near the outside wall and wait and listen for 10 minutes. If i hear gunfire then I start moving towards the airfield looking for action. If I don't do that i'll be waiting for 3 hours before anything happens. Time isn't that much of a luxury for me.

- I'm prowling around the NW airfield when I see a helicopter crash on the airstrip. - I wait for about 5 minutes to see if theres any motion - I decide to approach it and soon hear flies buzzing. - To my delight theres two dead bodies at the base of the helicopter. - I search them and find a LA5A2 and a MK48 - I'm beyond giddyness with the awesome find. - I make enough space in my bag for the l85 and use the mk48 as my primary - Zombies aggro me and I shoot them down. I've made a lot of noise so I run away asap. - I hoof it out o the airstrip and find a safe place to check out my new weapons. - I log out because its getting too dark and join a daylight server. Both weapons gone .... This is not the first time it has happened to me. What is going on? Why are weapons deleting? How can I safeguard myself from this happeneing? Should I play for an extended period of time before logging out to ensure they dont delete? Any tips appreciated

Found a heli crash YEEEEEEEEE At the heli crash I find a M4A3 CCO SD. My number two most desired weapon Excitement level at critical mass I start moving stuff around in my bag to make room for the gun when I see the dreaded red letters "no server communication for 10 seconds" (or something along those lines) The horrorrrrr! I calm myself and tell myself its no biggie, I'll join a new server and move myself away from my original location so that when i return to the main server ; everything wont instantly despawn. I do that and log back on to the main server. I run back to the heli crash and ..... SOMEONE RAIDED IT IN THE INTERVENING 3-4 MINUTES LOL! And as im searching the heli for any scraps i can find i hear PEW PEW PEW and it all turns red ... Shot with the weapon the server screwed me out of =(

Haha, I spent 4 hours methodically adventuring to the NW airfield Finally got there as happy as a baby with candy Climbed a ladder and something buggy happened and I fell off Now im lying on the ground with broken bones, 3k blood, and very very very frustrated lol Is there anyone around the NW airfield who has a morphine auto injector to fix my bone (and some steaks/blood) who can help me. Id really appreciate it. I'll even give you my email so that you can contact me if your ever in a bind and I'll try to help you out asap. btw bandits please dont respond. I dont have anything of value except aan ak with 2 magazines

He also gave me a free GPS! and an assault rifle! :) :D

Thanks Sephka! He came all the way to the airfield, gave me a blood bag, fixed my bone, and then escorted me to a hospital so i could stock up on more morphine's for future! Amazing

Hi guys, newbie here I had a few questions regarding zombies that I couldnt find via search #1 = Do some zombies hear/see better than other's? It's as if the zombies in the military area's aggro you from very far. #2 = Is zombie aggro purely based on sound/vision levels? Eg if im 5 feet away from a zombie it will see me. But what if im 5 feet away but behind a wall? #3 = What the deal with the way zombies attack? They attack in such a hiccupy sporadic animation that it's hard not to get hit unless you shoot them from a distance. #4 = How does noise detection work? If you shoot a zombie in the middle of town, all the nearby zombies hear the gunshot because it is close. But what if ou snipe a zombie from the hills overlooking a town? Will the zombies from the town register the location of the shot? or are they too far away? Sometimes i'll be crawling and a zombie will charge me from soooooooooooooo far away and run straight towards me as if I have bacon on my head

For me the single best thing I did to improve fps was lower the "3d resolution". (located in the bar below the "screen resolution") Reduce that, and reduce the visibility distance and youll be all set

probably, but like i said, i dont have much stuff at all. Character is only 4 hours old. Plus i'm on a server with only 3 or 4 people, and the airfield is currently empty Just hopign someone can save me. Took me ages to finally make it up here. I fell off taht stupid tower right in front of my body. Buggy mechanics more deadly than players

Oh my god, I joined a new server and my character was back again lol Not sure whats going on here. It made a new character and then now my old one which died mysteriously is back again. Anyway, here are two screenshots Please someone near nw airfield help me. We can meet on super low pop server. I'm located where the black circle is (Northwest airfield)

Bah, thanks for your responses, guess I died. Tried logging in to take a screenshot and it spawned as a new character. I was at 3000 blood and had bandaged the bleeding. Not sure why it didn't spawn my injured character. Can you randomly die offline if your very low blood (its been about 30 min since i fell)?

Omg lol, why would i go through the trouble of posting on a forum to trap someone? Seems like it would be a very long and roundabout way to kill someone. I can take a screenshot if you want. I'll meet whoever is kidn enough to help on a low population server so they dont have to worry about the usual pvp on NW airfield. And im about 100 m from the deer-stand in the north-western region of the airfield where there are no zombies Just trying to save my last several hours of gaming. Took me such a long time and so many remakes to finally make it to the airfield
