Today, is a story of betrayal. My friends and I were doing our thing, and we were looting Berezino. Our three friends, Incan, Mark, and Josh, got on and asked us where we were. We told them we were in the Berezino apartments, looting around. After about 10 minutes, they appeared. We decided to go loot the hospital, when, all of a sudden, there was a gunshot, and my friend Paul went down. I look behind us, and Josh's revolver is smoking. I aim down the sights with my M4 and kill him, then Mark broke my legs with his MP5A5. My friend Craft saw incan unholstering and aiming at us, so he dropped him. I had 1500 blood, but I still managed to kill Mark. Then I passed out in the middle of a Berezino street, and got patched up by craft.

Well jesus. That was intense. I ran solo from Komorovo to Balota, looted a Remington 870 Tact., and then went solo to Cherno. The orange building was picked clean, along with the fire station and supermarket. But, when I got to the church, I saw a player run out with another Remington in hand. I shot him once in the leg, once in the chest, and he went unconscious. I put one in his head and he was down for the count. Had some remington shells on him, and I hid the body. Heart pounding hard (it was almost like my first encounter all over again), I moved on to the church. Nothing but useless loot. At least I got a bit of food and water. I decided to loot around some apartment buildings to make up for the place being so well looted. On the third building, I heard a sniper shot. It wasn't directed at me, but I got down anyway. I knew there was loot at the clocktower, I could see it from my building. Go big or go home. ... I went home.

I try banditry every now and then. Every time I hold someone up, they DC. Nowadays, I just shoot them from the comfort of my building, and try not to die while I drop them.

Today, I was sniping with a friend in Cherno. Being a bag of dicks. Anyway, we killed a guy who shot me first. We looted him, and only found his enfield and an M9. Hid the body to avoid the flies, you know? Anyway, about 5 minutes later, I hear a gunshot and my friend says "I'm down, I'm down!" I look over, and I see a guy standing in the middle of our sniper's nest...and I was watching the only entrance. I killed the guy and looted him, then hid his body. I fixed my friend up, and we gathered that the guy hopped servers, went to our sniper's nest, and then went back to this server. We decided that if it happened again, we'd get off. Sure enough, 5 minutes later, a guy shoots me in the back with a double barrel shotgun. I die, and my friend kills him. I tell my friend to grab my M4 and log off.

Hair-rippingly annoying in some aspects, but overall, good. If they would just add Helis and clothing spawns again, I'd be happy...

There was a time when a team of bandits got the drop on me, while I was playing solo. I had an AK, they had M4 CCO's, M203's, and a rocket launcher. I fired blindly at them when they started shooting, and I ran into a grocery store. I camped the back enterance, and I killed one guy, and then all of a sudden, the game told me that 5 guys DC'd.

Yesterday, I traveled the whole of the map without killing a single person. I started in Cherno with two buds. We made a dash for NW Airfield, considering we'd never been there and wouldn't lose anything if we did. We got to Green Mountain and decided to take a break. When we logged back in, my friend spawned back in in Prigorodky, but he still had all his loot and stuff (this has happened to him 2 times now). 1 down, I guess. Me and my other friend logged in, and almost immediately heard an M24 shot. It was close. Probably that big tower we logged out next to (tell me about our stupidity, eh?). We ran into the forrest and proned. Nothing for about 5 minutes. I decided we should move on. Just then, another shot rang out. Probably another M24, but distant. Someone died. We booked it across an open field, and got to the next treeline. We stopped to collect ourselves, then we got shot at AGAIN. Had to be an AK. 5 bullets landed in a neat arc right to the left of me. I yelled out "Shots! Shots fired! We're moving, Paul!" I essentially hauled him up, and we were flying north again. Eventually, we saw a long house. We got in and waited for about 20 minutes. No sign of people, and no shots. We moved on, and found another long house. My friend decided he had to go eat, so he logged off. I waited there for about 15 minutes, and he came back and when he logged in, he logged in dead. No idea. No shots were fired, nothing. I sighed, and moved on. 2 down. I went north a bit more, and found myself in Vybor. I decided to just pass through and stop at a barn just north of it. No notable loot, but I took a moment to collect my thoughts, and know that I'd probably be dying as soon as I got in there. I ate some beans and drank a coke for what I knew would be my last meal. I reloaded, and ran north. I found the barracks, and about 30 zombies. I killed all of them, at the cost of my legs which was remedied by some morphine and a meat. I went into the barracks and found absolutely NOTHING. Just some ammo for my AKM and that was it. I moved north and found myself on the airfield. I wondered if I should sneak or if I should just run. I decided that running was better and easier. Harder to hit if I just book it and run. I ran for the first hangar, and all I found was an M9 SD and a mag. I put that in my bag, since I wanted my 1911 for now. I looted all the hangars, and nothing was found except for one mag for the M9 and my AKM. Seriously dissappointed. I checked the firestation, and nothing was there either. I decided to check the ATC tower, and lo and behold, there was an M4 and mags. I loaded up, put my AKM in my bag, and moved out. I went to Berezino, where I met up with my two friends from earlier. I gave one the AKM, and the other the M9. We went back south and logged off in Cherno.

I just want it to be larger, it seems like there are only a few places to go. Personally, I want to see a large overhaul on the game. Expanding the map 2 or 3 fold, and adding more weapons and more spawn zones, and more military loot places. Maybe a Lee Enfield nerf, too. Maybe this could come out upon standalone release (assuming that's what's going to happen). I dunno, post your ideas on what you'd like to see in an overhaul.

I think the ratio of points of interest to nothingness is fine, but I DO want more points of interest.That's why I think a map expansion.

No, they can't.You can run through the middle of a town and only aggro a few, then lose most of them just by running in a straight line.

I snipe with an M4 CCO or an enfield in Cherno. I only take down people with weapons.

1) Player A shoots Player B, and Player B goes down. Player B fires back, and breaks Player A's legs. Player B dies of either blood loss or another shot from Player A. Player A has no bandages, nor does Player B. Player A bleeds out, or respawns due to the broken leg. 2) Two players kill each other at the same time. 3) Player A shoots Player B. Player B kills Player A. Player B bleeds out.

Six Updater+DayZ Commander. Commander is a better launcher than Six, but Six Updater works for the updating and such.

Jeez, I've been looking for an hour now. I don't even want to play anymore, this is rediculous. Blame me for using Six Launcher, but I update when an Update comes out. There should be a rule that servers have to update within 5 days of an update release.

I know, but I don't WANT to join a server with 39/50 people, and, by the time I get in and verify that the time zone is the same as the one that the server says and it works, the server's full and my friends can't get in.

Today, I played friendly neighborhood sniper. I was in a server with global chat, and if I saw someone, instead of shooting, I asked if they were friendly. If they said yes, I guided them to nice, loot-filled buildings. A couple times I had to drop no-good bandit snipers, but otherwise, I never fired a shot.

Well that was a new one. Today, me and my friend Craft were sniping on top of Cherno, being dicks. He snipes, I get down there and take the loot, then we disperse it amongst ourselves. An hour and 9 kills later, we kill an Admin. Oh cock. 30 minutes later, an AK fires and kills both of us. The admin ghosted up to us and killed us, then, in BLUFOR, told everyone he killed us.

Very common. 9/10 you'll hear shooting or get shot at in Cherno. One time, my friends and I went in, and we were all well armed, and we STILL got shot at. The guy only had an AK, but he still tried to drop our 6 man team.

This morning, me and friends hopped on a night server. We were scattered, and decided to meet at Balota. I spawned in Cherno. Since it was night, I looted around. I hit the Church, and got a whole lotta nothing. I moved to the supermarket and found an ALICE pack, a double barrel, and a 1911 with lots of ammo. I left and we met up in Balota, and I traded my double barrel for a Lee Enfield. We decided to hit the hospital and check the supermarket again. We looted the hospital, it was almost picked clean of any morphine. Bad signs. We moved to an apartment building where we found ammo and food, and then made our way to the supermarket. We stopped at the fire station, and found the biggest player base I've ever seen. 10 tents, guns, ammo, a car, and 3 people. They aimed and told us to turn around and walk away, and that we didn't see anything. We went on. My friend looked into the supermarket and saw movement. He told us that there was someone inside. We took flanking positions, and moved into the supermarket. We dropped two people, and a third ran. We looted and found some decent stuff, and moved back to Balota. When we got to Balota, we were making a plan, when shots rang out. My friend dropped dead. We decided it'd be a GREAT idea to throw flares around, so we started hucking flares everywhere. The shots stopped for a bit, so I assume we scared him off. We loot around, and I trade my Enfield for an AK. We meet up in a tent and continue formulating our plan. More shots, another friend down. We decide to go to the airfield, and get out with 3 people, leaving one guy to hold the fort. Halfway across the runway, and we all get dropped. We spawn back in, literally right next to the airfield, and find our bodies had gone. We got silly and pulled out flashlights and ran about, yelling taunts at the sniper who was taking potshots at us. Then we all ran out of Balota.

Well aware.Hell, we actually WERE bandits. If we saw people with a gun, a general rule was to kill them. We killed a guy just because he had just killed a cow, gutted it, and cooked the meat. We killed a guy after going into his camp and saying we were friendly. But, now that I'm not butt-hurt over it, I would say it was a well coordinated attack on me and my friend in the van. But those hackers from earlier....
