Sometimes, when I kill an unarmed, I think: Oh shit. I just ruined that guy's day. Damn, I shouldn't have done that and let him pass. Oh well. Then I move on.

I like third person for one reason. FIrst person is disorientating. I really, really dislike it. Even with headbob down, I still get a bit dizzy after playing it.

I've had an ATV, a motorcycle, a bicycle, two vans, and a bus. And I've only been playing for a month and a half.

Well woopdie-fuckin-doo you're better than us snipers.Anyway, why not? It's part of the game. People adapt their playstyle to snipers. In fact, as a sniper, you're helping more than you're harming. Every death someone learns something, especially sniper kills. That's why it's hard to snipe in-city.

Punkbuster is even worse than Battleye.

Yesterday was very eventful. With the night befopre ending with me getting thrown a hundred feet from my V3S after it exploded, I logged back on and decided I'd try to get back to my friends. I had an M4A3 CCO, which is just a plea to get killed. I had about 5k blood when I passed Kamyshovo. A guy with either a double barrel or an enfield spotted me, and fired. I went down, and decided to take a little break. 10 minutes later, I come back and spawn back in. I spawned near Balota, so I decided to get the deerstands there. Lo and Behold, I found a Winchester with 4 mags. So happy...And then I heard someone on the radio. I dropped to the ground, and started crawling towards the tents. He said, "Are you friendly? I can shoot you!" I said I was friendly and to not shoot. He agreed, and said he was in a tent. He obviously didn't see me, he was looking in the wrong direction. I found his tent, and saw the gun in his hands...An M4A3 CCO. Rage overcame me, and I unleashed a single, pinpoint shot in the man's skull. I dunno if it was the guy who killed me, or if he was astronomically lucky, but either way, I had an M4A3 CCO back. I looted around and found a couple mags for it. I met up with some friends in Cherno, and we sniped around for a bit (my friend gave me an M14). After racking up about 20 kills between us, I decided that it'd be a good idea to loot Balota again to find more ammo for my M4A3 CCO. It took a bit of convincing, but I got my friend to come with. He had an FN FAL ANPVS4, and I had my M14 out. We got about halfway there, when bullets started flying. I wasn't going to die with my M4A3 CCO again. Not like in Kamyshovo. I turned around, and fired into the trees, and ran down the hill towards the road. There was a fence and a line of pines, and my friend and I got behind it. We bandaged up and gave each other blood transfusions. I poked out from behind the tree, to see a guy scanning frantically. I put three shots in his chest from cover, and decided I'd loot his body while my friend overwatched. He had basically nothing. I hid his body, and went back to the trees. Just as I got there, full auto fire from somewhere east cracked out. I dropped to a knee, and saw a guy with an AKM reloading. I put 3 in his chest, and he went down. Nothing special, so I hid his body. I had about 7k blood now, and I decided that we should go back to Cherno. We got 10 feet before a third guy popped up, too bad he was a much better shot than his buddies. Down we went, and gone our FN FAL ANVPSDFLADLJFFAWhatever and my M4A3 CCO went. I took a break and ate some food, and when I came back, the first words I heard from my Mumble were "WE FOUND A BUS!" Oh my god. They found a bus. My two sniper friends found a bus. They picked me up, and we went into the country side, and found a nice place to hide the bus. They gave me an AKM, and I saved the bus, and we logged off.

Fun with friends. My only problem, is I start to get anxious and less forthcoming the more gear I get. Like yesterday, for example. I ran to the NW Airfield with a Remington and a friend, and felt nothing but pure excitement for the loot we found. Not nervous at all. But after I got all that loot, I had a hard time running, at night, from Cherno to the three way junction north of it to get picked up.

Yeah, it would be.But, it would also create problems with snipers on servers with nameplates. IE: You hear a shot, and you see "a_casual_banana killed Josh" or something, and then you decide to do a quick roof scan, and your crosshairs pick me up on a roof. You would know where I was, and you wouldn't have checked if you hadn't seen the message.

I can't believe my luck. Today, me and my friend BeepBoop met up in Cherno. I had my trusty Remington 870, and he had a basic Lee Enfield. Cherno was a hot spot on that server (well, no duh, but more hot than usual). It sounded like a continuous gun fight was going on. We looted the firestation that we met up at, and I found a PDW. Very nice. We looted around, and found food and water. A lot of it. Enough to survive for a WHILE. I said, "Beep, we haven't got enough loot. We're not gonna survive without better guns, these will be the death of us..." Beep: Well, we have a lot of food. We could go basically anywhere. The idea slowly dawned on us, no matter how stupid. We looked each other in the eyes and said in unison: NW Airfield. Now, I've only been to the NW Airfield once, and I was lucky that there was no one up north at all. I got in, got out, and went to Berezino afterwards. This time would be different. I have a teammate, and I have to watch for him, but he'll be watching for me. We found two compasses and two maps last minute, and set off in the North Northwest direction out of Cherno. After about 10 minutes of uneventful walking, we came across something amazing. A helicopter crash site. We killed everything in sight, and moved up. Oh my lord, my luck was good and bad at the same time! FN FAL AN/PVS-4, but no mags. I decided to put it in my bag anyway, deciding that it would be a nice spotter weapon for night ops. We found a DMR and an M14, and plenty of ammo. Not much as far as heli crashes go, but damn that was more loot than I'd ever had in this game. We set off again, and eventually reached Vybor with no incident. We stopped in my barn, the Final Stop Before Hell, as I like to call it, and have our last meal consisting of steak and coke. I looked at Beep, and said this: You know, if there's a time to back out, now is it. Beep: Ugh...I dunno man...I think I wanna go through with it. Me: Make your mind up now, I'm good with anything you want to do. Beep: *sigh* ...Let's do it. We moved out, and I took the lead. We hit the first barracks and struck gold: An M4A3 CCO. I traded it for my Remington (I may have kissed it goodbye, damn I loved that gun). It had 5 mags for it, and that was good. We looted around and found more DMR mags, and an AKM that we left. We went through the airfield, looting the hangars as we went (bone dry, minus a couple STANAG mags), and hit the firestation. More STANAG mags. We hit the control tower, and found an M4A1. I asked my friend if he wanted it, but he was fine with his DMR and M14. We moved on to the last barracks, and found it picked clean. We decided it was time to go. We left the NW airfield, without a shot fired. Twice, unscathed. We met up with a bud in Cherno, and set about the business of sniping. After about half an hour, we got a call on skype from our second group. They had found a V3S and were coming to get us. Okay.jpg. My other two friends logged off, and I went to go meet up with the guys in the V3S. We drove out to Dolina to go to Berezino, when my friend slammed into a tree. This totaled the car, and I got out when it lit up. We got about 5 feet before it blew. Biggest explosion I've seen since I started playing. I was thrown, and went into a shock and unconsciousness. I woke up about a minute later, and had 2k blood. I had full blood when the car was totaled. I bandaged myself up, and took a sitrep. One man KIA, one man MIA, and one man WIA. I bandaged the wounded man, and he was still unconscious. I looted the KIA, and took his meat, eating up to 6k health. I decided that was a good time to log off, so I walked into the woods a bit and logged off.

Too many snipers. Not worth it without an overwatch or going in at night.

Only ever had a run in with a hacker once, and that was on my third day of play. So of course I took his stuff, I didn't know any better!

Probably the time when I ran around in Cherno in the middle of the night and threw flares at people. They couldn't see me, but boy oh boy could I see them... Then someone shot me in the legs with a makarov, and him and his team had a fun time messing around with me. I kept throwing flares, and they kill me. Then someone killed them, due to the shots and the flares.

I run like a chicken with it's head cut off.

I Alt Tab to get to mine, which runs the risk of dying. I think it's a fair trade off.

M4A1 on a roof in Cherno. Building was taller than Int. Hotel, so I guess that would be about 15 stories, so about 50 meters up, and the guy was 200 meters away at the firestation, so about 55 meters then. 55 Meters with an M4A1. PS: You made me do math in summer.

I live in Salt Lake City, and there's not a lot of light pollution here. Go south a couple hours, and it's darker than all hell. Can't see where the ground begins, and where the sky ends.

Alright, but would that work in practice?It sounds like a great idea, but is it possible to get every admin to view these logs with a fair perspective? I know we've all heard the horror stories about admin abuse (Hell, I've been a victim of it!), how do we know that admins won't just go: LOL HE LOGGED, BAN BAN BAN BAN...?

My only problem with that is, what if I'm trying to find a good server? IE: I need to find a day server, and I join a night server, or the server's laggy, so I DC. Will I get penalized for that? I generally hit about 5 servers within 10 minutes to find a good one (the flaws of traveling with six), and I don't want to get my character killed because I want to find a server.
