You know the server browser in the game is like your standard server browser and the filters it gives you are more than adequate to find a server you know the name of, even better you can join by IP if you know that. Its not really anyone elses fault you cant remember the names of servers you join, if you wanted to you could but no you want something to do it for you. Some people give you exactly what you want in a third party application but its not good enough because you dont want it that way. I think the problem here is you. Personally im glad to have a normal PC server browser and not some streamlined user friendly crap, plus even if it was on a list of things to do, if a list existed I would guess it is way down the bottom.

Date/Time: 24/07/12 What happened: My mate got hit by a Zed clipping through the corner of a house broke his leg and bled out too fast to help(and I was standing right next to him), there were some sync issues on the server at the time so although it seemed like he was down in one hit it might not of been. As I was guarding his body it just despawned/clipped under the house before my eyes and was no longer selectable to loot. I know it could of been buried but I didnt take my eyes off it unless someone was invisible. Where you were: In Dubrovka across the road from the only medium value residential, standing by one of the low value ones. What you were doing: Just moving through when my mate got aggro. *Current installed version:DayZ - 1.7.2.3 Arma II - 1.61.95208 (updating this morning!) *Server(s) you were on: uk 8 *Your system specs: n/a *Timeline of events before/after error: I was just sitting watching the body and it despawned/clipped under a house, I dont know if its relevant but Zed bodies also dissapeared very fast in that spot, compared to say Zeds you shoot in the street and the bodies stay for a while. Hopefully it is an actual bug I have found and not just me being wrong ;0

Why do people need to cry so much after every change, its being tested.... Besides respawning to get closer to your "buddies" is exploiting the mechanic to gain advantage. It takes like half an hourish to go from the coast to NW airfield, id say roughly the same from West to East along the coast its not as if its a serious hardship people.

Yea because zombies are really hard to kill and/or dodge and survival is a serious pain its not as if you can just go to a lake/field to get food and drink, or a handy store full of it...

I have had a load of the top end gear, didnt hop or loot cycle and dont have a private server. Chopper crashes and other players, thats where I get my gear.

If you didnt get shot, you wouldnt start again and some of the most fun ive had has been at the start of a new spawn.

CoD 4 and ProMod were the last good days of the series. I shoot everyone (almost) and I LOVE it when they rage, "we were no threat to you, you cunts" etc etc makes me smile. This is mostly up in the north to be fair where people may have taken hours to get up to the airfield or starry and have at least that to lose, lol.

Its a wallhack now ? Oh my. It cant see through concrete or glass or thick trees and bushes to a certain extent, if you dont see someone and go wandering their way with no cover you would get shot if they had that thermal or not.. Its also a good weapon for keeping watch my mates have a few CQ kills thanks to me guiding them to a target, but yea hay bales, bushes, trees, walls, buildings etc etc block it and pretty much anywhere the thermal can see you so can someone without it.

EA and DICE ruined bf3 by dumbing it down and gearing it towards the console market, all the good stuff from 2, 2142 was taken away and replaced with "hey im getting fucked in the ass over here". :0 On topic now.. If I get the drop on a survivor I make it my business to kill them, most people tend to d/c or alt f4. Well one time 2 of us in the firestation at NW airfield and we already shot one dude but some other guy runs in see's us runs out and starts talking over direct, comes in backwards so we could of shot him..but we left him to it and moved out. That was a rarity, personally I wont camp a place looking for kills, infact alot of times providing overwatch I have just guided my mates to the kills unless I have a clean shot. Killing other players on sight or even after they give you something isnt griefing its increasing your odds of surviving, trusting randoms will never go well.

This is pretty much the only negative troll thread I can see on this board and thats good compared to other games forums.. OP needs to leave and come back at a later date or STFU. As was stated many times your just asking for it hanging around in the barracks.

I tried to prone through the transformers at the power station did a funny dance got stuck broke my leg and died, I dunno if that was being electrified but it was pretty much like it lol. Also I went prone on a rooftop with all top weapons tools med supplies when my character decided to run 4 steps forward orso before proning leaping off the fire station roof at the airfield, fun !

The cities, towns and farms should have rats. Scewering a rat and cooking it on a camp fire sounds about right for this game.

Ok so I only got arma II yesterday to play dayz and im not dissapointed for an alpha its in better nick than some full releases I have played so well done for that. About the new zombies.. I dont know how easy they used to be from experience only from video's on my second spawn ever I got into a town, into a church got a weapon and some supplies but got noticed on the way out and splattered 5 orso zeds, once leading them away a bit lol. One of my friends who has played this alot a month back or more came to have some fun and was happy to have all his gear although the "loading" bug got in the way for a while he got on we met up he killed a few zeds but as we moved out he was running about crouched as im assuming you could before this patch, pulled 4 zeds got hit twice and got knocked out and eaten on the roadside then proceeded to rage quit. What im trying to say is to me as a new player its not so bad really but older players at least my mate dont like it at all.
