    You're welcome, that was fun. For those of you watching at home: On the way to meet Cedric my ATV shot 30ft into the air then exploded on impact, killing me. This was on flat ground, go ArmA engine. I ran back to my body and gathered my stuff. Cedric kept getting kicked due to ping on the server I was on so we switched. That server had atrocious ping for me and I was getting a whopping 8fps but it wasn't kicking me. I evaded a zombie while waiting, even with 8fps. We met up and he got his ghillie. Now isn't that way more fun than coastal death match? I think so.

    I could just be lucky but I haven't seen a single glitch since 1.7.2.6. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE (1GB) with Windows 7 and driver 304.79

    I'm having good luck finding ATVs and tractors but they go missing in a matter of hours. Too many people with maphack/ESP IMHO but that is the state of affairs right now with the mod.

    It has been my experience that the vehicle will be in the general area but not exactly where the icon is on the map. Also keep in mind two things: 1) there are multiple spawn points per vehicle type so it's not guaranteed there will be a vehicle there 2) people grab them pretty quick and repair/hide them Good luck! P.S. I just found a tractor tonight and got it repaired and all fueled up with some gear stashed. One small tree branch later and it exploded. Luckily I bailed just in time so didn't die. Even if you find a vehicle it is hard keep them. :)

    You are not forced to kill anyone, you can run away and disengage. I'm over 20K humanity mainly because I play solo and avoid people.

    Remember that new spawn running around with no gear is just as likely some douche "sniper" that just got owned as some helpless new player. Trust no one.

    Not true. I have a hero skin and until yesterday had never given anyone a blood transfusion or bandage since I almost always play solo. All you have to do is play DayZ like it's a zombie apocalypse and you are trying to survive. I know, crazy right? Do that for a couple weeks (I have a family and a demanding job so takes a while) and you are a hero.

    Hacker teleports behind my friend and I and shoots me. He's a horrible shot so just breaks my legs and half blood loss. I move around in the grass while he continues to miss me. Finally I say screw it and bandage myself. The hacker finally manages to get a couple more shots into me while I'm kneeling and bandaging. I die but my friend is fine. He was watching the hacker when "poof" the hacker disappears as quickly and silently as he appeared. We log and go find another server.

    It's there on DayZ Commander for me. Be sure you don't have it filtered out due to it being an older version (1.7.2.4) or other parameters.

    I decided to check this server out so downgraded and have been playing. Ping is great since I'm in Missouri. The loot spawn generator loves me also. ;) I've already found 2 tents and good stuff to put in them. I've set up the 2 tents and am enjoying my new home server. Reaper I saw you on today when I was playing, I'll add you to steam and give you a shout sometime.
