TheLoneRanger (DayZ)

Im TheLoneRanger, started playing about 48 hours ago as well. Have had some good and bad times, funny and sad times to boot. I play the west coast servers, mostly the LA or Seattle ones. Unforunately, I don't have a Mic yet (getting one in the next few days). If anyone wants to party up my steam ID is thelonerange12.

Thanks, I thought something was wrong. After that post I did much better; found a shotty in a barn and then a Makarov in a church. Somehow, I dropped my shotty when trying to switch weapons and couldnt find it anymore. i then left, and found a *chick* in a store with a crossbow being attacked by zombies. I killed the zombies, but i guess she was hit and kept passing out; i didn't have a transfusion kit to save her. Its moments like that that make this mod awesome. While I still haven't figured out everything yet (swapping backacks and transferring items between backpacks is eluding me for the meoment) but I'll eventually get it figured out. Also, thanks for the tip with the empty cans, I didn't know you could throw those.

I picked this up yesterday on Steam and am encountering many of the same pains yall are. Sometimes i find a weapon right off the bat, other times i go 4 hours and get everything BUT a weapon. One thing thats bugging me though, every time I day I'm forced to repick my gender. Is this normal or do i need to reinstall it? I've had good success with barns and loot, but not much else. I guess ill take a look around for a deer stand, maybe that will help. Well, I'm excited to see this Mod this good in Alpha, and I cant wait for it to be further improved upon and go into Beta!
