I spawned into a group of 5 using a group chat function. One wanted to shoot me but it wasn't hard to become allies with them. I suppose having no weapon helped. Not all groups are bad. We later became a band of 7 after we ran into two others. Of course, we got shot at by some less friendly players. But groups do work out. Or can,

How to you plan to trade vehicles if they are server restricted. If someone offers one with a high ping on their side. Then its not going to be fun for you,

Friends and I were cheering and laughing while riding in a car we just found. Then we hit a wall and the car blew up.

Do the chopper pilots carry night vision? Or is that only a myth. Please answer only if your sure about what your talking about.

I've found a crash site and I'm wondering if loot re-spawns if you go away from it and then return later. Or you left and disconnected and came back after. Does that happen?

Yep, seems other people have the same issue. Trouble is its not making the gun efficient anymore. Its loud, and without its stopping power working correctly, its more like a very loud low capacity Makarov...

I've been playing for almost 3 hours this morning, and so far, everytime I would shoot at a zombie with my M1911, it would not die until the 3rd, or 4th shot. Even up close in houses and buildings. I got injured because I would put 2 rounds in them, and usually it would only take one. So I would continue to get hit thinking they should be dead. Plus its a waste of ammo. with only 7 rounds in a magazine, you can only really take down one or two. I noticed this happen to me with almost 10 zombies. Did they nerf the M1911, or is it just the server?

I've downloaded and installed the latest beta batch from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php And I ran the updater and I still get a red highlight on my version telling me I don't have the latest beta, and I can't join servers because I get "bad version" Please help.

And the shots attract more zombies. Thirdly, I didn't always have bandages on hand. I would be bleeding from an injury and the only way I kept alive was by being offline. So moving out of a high risk zone didn't always work. I like how you act as if I should have been saving myself, which defeats the point of the thread. Firstly, because I've been told the medics love high risk zones, secondly. Because its a help thread. Not a 'shut up and do it yourself' thread. I don't see how you could overlook all that, and call it out as fishy. Your just trying to jump to your more favorable conclusion. When I quote, I don't cut out parts to misrepresent the other person's view. I cut out parts and answer them as they are told. Thats how I use quotes. What happened is that I died. And I did not post it in the forums. That shouldn't even be of the slightest concern to you. Because nobody came to help me. And If I don't get help, I'm dead. And I've made it back to the ATC tower within one day many times. Getting injured again, isn't something that can't happen. I don't even see why you care so much Its like your goal here is to brand me a bandit that has been shooting your medics. Which already doesn't make sense, because the medics get to the spot I am in on a server I don't even know about. There is no way that I can kill them then. I've also told you to ask goodfellarocco about this. And what I was doing the night one of the medics was shot. Which was skyping with him. Once again, these points are ignored. And you continue on to try and prove your now flawed reasoning. And then you tried to prove I acted suspicious in game by using a quote about forums instead, as if that was really a relevant thing to compare it too. It's not. And about that post on the forums. And not even me, when I would post occasionally, is rude. And I don't care how easy it is to find my Skype information, I asked you once, and it wasn't taken down. So don't call me a prick for that. I was just playing dayz on a regular server, and after entering Vybor, I noticed my map had 4 icons on it. Each said man. And were spread out along the town. I thought it was the zombie but there were some outside the building I was in and they did not show up. Whats stranger is that there were maybe 10 people in the server, and then almost half would have to be in Vybor, If they are online players, which is unlikely. Plus, some of the icons faded away or moved as I checked again. Does anyone know what that is?

Alright Brian, let me do some explaining to you. Firstly, when you want help. Sometimes you give the medic your username so that they can contact you on Steam, for example. And then help you. It's really quite useful you know. So, therefore, when they get shot. How do they tell me? Oh! They tell me over the steam chat. And if they happened to log on a 30 seconds earlier, and then report they got shot to me 30 seconds after. Then I know they died within a minute, because 30+30=60. And 60 seconds is a minute. Easy stuff. Point two: "Why would you post one day that you need help, come to fill out an RMA with us, tell me its been days, then that youre dead, then still request help from someone else in these forums?" Well, you see now Brian. I didn't suddenly post one day that I needed help. I would usually post once, and then twice. As time went by. This was because I wasn't getting any help. And I could CLEARY see others being helped around me within hours while I never got any. So over the course of a few days. My posts would continue to be ignored. So after someone told me to stop "spamming" the thread. I went and grudgingly filled out an RMA with RatedMgaming to see if I could potentially get the help there. So when I fill out the form. Of course it has been days. Because I never got the help I needed. And the reason I still request help in the forums is because I never get help, so I'll continue to leave posts for help in the medic thread. Look at that video, a Chinook, a CHINOOK chopper. I would LOVE to have them in dayz. And armored vehicles too. If zombies can hit you in vehicles, they should at least included these ones. I am so excited by this video, I wish I could see this in game so bad. But I'm sure, there are a ton of side effects that we would have to deal with if these were put in. I think at least the Chinook should be though, to make there more than one chopper, if they put them back in.

I'm subscribed to a LOT of forums, and I mean a lot. And I can tell you I've gotten the same sort of issues I got on this thread with those others as well. And 99% of the time, if I write a kind polite response it is simply cast aside, and I mean that. I've seen this problem again and again. So when it comes to a stupid accusation, I'm in NO state of mind to go through another painstaking process of trying to kindly explain the situation. I'll give it to them right there and then. It works best, and gets the point across. Does it appear immature? I'm sure it does. But after dealing with this for years, going about it the way you describe has almost never worked. I find it funny you took the main section of my argument out of your quote, leaving only my angry points at the beginning and end. It really does twist it to suit your point. I won't complain this time.

Been here a while, and I feel stupid, because I've never shot anyone down there yet that has not tried to kill me first.

2 Buds and I went to the NW airfield yesterday, we were arguing about whether the plan was just stupid or if it would work. (We were going as a column across the field) Sure enough, as soon as we hit the hangers, gunfire breaks out. Then a lot of swearing and cursing over our Skype chat. We all got out alive in the end.

Oh, and he posted my Steam and Skype information on this site. (Page 105)I know I've put my Steam up. But putting my Skype is private information and I will contact higher ups if you don't take it down. It can be a form of harassment.

Yep, especially when I did not even know the servers the medics were operating on when shot, as I was not told, so could not have killed them.
