If it makes a difference, I would suggest getting a i5(w/e)K with a high end video card (of coarse MB and PSU should be up to par). I have a i5 2500K (I know doesn't sound great) with a GTX 680 Z77 Asus MB 750W PSU. In ARMA 2 I'm running frames easly over 60 and sometimes way over 100 FPS. I can fraps with a solid 60 FPS with Vsync on (I have a 60Hz Monitor). In Dayz the frames do drop but not by much. Although when in Dayz I fraps with a solid 30 FPS not dipping anywhere below that. For me, I need to have good FPS while I run Fraps. the i5 with a high end video card gives me what I need for a decent overall price. Just make sure you have at least 8GB of RAM. I recommend these products. Intel Core I5 3570K Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Asus P8Z77-V LE PLUS As for the RAM and GPU, you are going to decide that on your own. Wether you want 8GB or 16+ and there are many types of GPU's. Also be ready to upgrade your PC every year or be left behind.

I ran into a similar issue when I had to reinstall. What I did was install a series of patches beginning with 1.11 to 1.60 then to the latest patch. Also make sure you use the 2 cd keys given toy ou in the manuel. It's possible you used the same one for both disk. 1 key is for ARMA 2 and the other key is for Operation Arrowhead/Combined Operations. There is no need to buy another copy of the game as the title says. You can't be panicing like this, it can lead many to their deaths.

Your MPMissions folder in your main directory will work just fine. Once it's in the folder launch the game, click on multiplayer, and select new to create a new server. make your server a lan and select the island (chernarus) and mission TheShootingRange.Chernarus. Be sure not to have DayZ enable in the expantions when you run arma 2.

Well, I had a similar problem. I had to manually update my ARMA 2 OA by first installing patch 1.11, then 1.60 and finally 1.62. You might have to reinstall. I would not install any mods untill you are fully updated. Try entering a normal domination server first when you update. Anyways, good luck man.

How about Keep the NVG's and get rid of the Thermal or... make the ghillie suits thermal resistant.

We can still have fun without "murdering" people. Hunt bandits, then it would be ok to "kill" them.

Dang, you guys are still around? Anyways, these guys are not bad to hang around with. I would recommend them if you want to get some team work going.
