hey ace you got some hackers again, Elektro has a downed chopper crash near the school, Couldn't inspect the body for a name tho. A A-10 Plane flying around and crashed no name appeared when he died and as I ran to the crash site my legs broke and I died about 350+ meters from crash, Heard another plane flying around

Server: US149 TIme: 9:31pm PST, 10:27PM PST Location: Elektro While heading through elektro to pick up my other buddy we began to take fire from the hills, we had to pass up our friend. not even 3 minutes later our friend hears and sees a huge explosion after he investigates, He finds the body of |FMJ| Switch laying dead with a ghillie and a AS50 TWS in a helicopter. Switch was killed as the explosion happened. We've come to the conclusion he might have been shooting at us and shot his scripted in helicopter and blew him self up. At first we were not sure if this weapon was hacked in so we continued around for a little while. by now the server has me and my 2 friends. FMJ Switch and one of his clan members and 2 other guys. Pitch black out, and we are taking fire with silenced weapons from no where we can see. One of us died, me and my other friend barely escaped death.

It seems like after patch 1.7.2.3 every server is pitch black, and I know this is a game of realism supposedly but come one. I live near country side not a lot of lights and wtf It isn't so dark i cant see my hands in front of my face. even when the moon is covered by clouds its still pretty visible. Even if I was to turn up gama and brightness it doesn't do anything. I know im going to get a lot of use your flashlight, but thats fucking just as stupid as how unrealistically dark it is. the minute I turn on my flash light like 150 gunshots will strike me down. I think the darkness needs to be a little more realistic or you need to be able to hold a gun and a flashlight at the same time aside form only having two guns able to use flashlights

I too have been kicked form this server after killing and looting one of the owners, was a couple days ago, But I just brushed it off and found a new server.

Yeah I realized I posted this in the wrong section sorry about that. Didn't catch it till now. Even when I turn up my gama and brightness with HDR on very high. Nothing changes its completely black, the ground, trees bushes and buildings are pitch black and the sky is like 2 shades lighter. So i can see the horizon and thats it. Its unplayable at night, so I'm forced to join servers in different timezones which makes the lag a bit more, but also is just annoying.

For the life of me I cannot find a single server with helicopters enable everyone I ask says they have them disabled :/ anyone know one or two of them in the us. West cost preferabl, but east coast is fine as well

Im playing US 649, my time zone is PST, 4 or 5 times now back to back Corey MARTINI and BostonBrand have been spawning in elektro with NVG, Alice packs, FN FALS and M4A3 CCO. Everytime they die they respawn and kill me and my group of friends, when we kill them they have the same gear everytime. and they get in elektro first or 2nd try from their respawn.

well can you link me to a post that actually states that helicopters don't spawn.. cause its like 50-50 on what I'm hearing, I cant find any posts about helicopters being removed or not spawning.

and every single time you come back you had the same gear, even after we looted your bodies? I doubt that. We killed corey 2 times and both times he had the same gear, and he didnt even have time to re loot the body as I was standing on his body, I took his FN and shot him with it and looked at his body he had another FN.. how is that legit?

yeah us 187 has a uh-1h Huey, Seen it fly by 3 times but its lagg in that server for some reason. takes to long for me to respawn

So me and 3 friends are heading to our camp site and on the way this Ural is speeding in the opposite direction, almost head ons with us, so I jump out and just blast him as hes driving down the road, the trucks swerves into a field I didn't see anyone d/c, didn't see anyone die, no murders or bandit kills. We inspect the truck no one around so we fix it up and take it, once at our camp we are looking through it and there is a land mine, IR strobe and aa12 ammo. But I'm not sure if land mines, IR strobes or aa12's spawn in dayz. I know i've seen screen shots with aa12's but are they legit. and what about the strobes and land mines?. This happend on US149

I figured it was probably hacked or something. Me and my friends were to iffy about it so we just ditched the stuff that looked hacked and then keep the truck :P

same problem, last night my game worked fine, I had already installed beta patch 94444 and it seemed to fix my car desync and some frame rate issues and today dayz update 1.7.2 came out. I installed and stuck on character as usual, But thats a given because most updates break games for a little while so I was going to hop on arma2 OA but it seems that the menus hang and freeze, and when I try to load the armory its telling me Im missing files and then when I do get in there is no map and when I spawn its like a camera looking at the level but I cant do anything. and he rest of the time its telling me error loading direct3d 9 engine. I've done everything I can think of short of re installing arma 2 and arma 2 OA. Not sure if that will even work, not to mention my Internet sucks so it will take days to reinstall D: from steam
