ya i tried reinstalling BE same problem, I cant just let it sit either, it closes automatically once bar comes up, cant stop it, im going to try to reinstall again too, i'll report back.

Im having the same problems also, once i get past the second tank loading screen the game crashes to the desktop. Any help would be appreciated. *EDIT* Just wanted to add, this only happens when trying to connect to a DayZ server, I can launch the game normally and join a server. Also i have done troubleshooting also, nothing seems to work.

So after the new updates (1.7.2.3) I cannot log onto a server. I installed the new patch needed, pretty sure i did it right, and updated DayZ with six launcher. I was able to play this morning when the game was still 1.7.2, but now i cant. What happens is that my game stops working, crashes, after the second tank loading screen, after the first lobby. I don't know what is going on, i tried re-installing BE and the patch, but i cannot figure it out, any help will be appreciated. I have the steam version of the game also.

Found a fix to the problem: I tuned off my antivirus, which is Malwarebytes, and the game ran smooth, no more problems.

Hey guys, I have been having some trouble with Dayz. I am getting major lag spikes about every 2 seconds. I joined my friends server and i had no lag spikes whatsoever. My friends server was not a Dayz server. I tried multiple servers with low ping and it was all the same result. I am really trying to play some Dayz with my friends but i can't so please, any help is appreciated. I hae everything set to minimum levels in graphics also. Also here are my core specs, it is an Asus laptop: Intel i5 2.27 ghz 4 cores 4 gigs of DDR3 RAM Geforce GTS 360M, 3 Gigs of VRAM
