I think I read the worst suggestion ever for this game in this thread, the vehicle respawn nonsense. Maybe respawn vehicles after three days of no use (also fixes scripters teleporting vehicles into the water so no one can have them), but an hour is perhaps the single worst suggestion I have ever witnessed on these forums. Those of you who do not run around in a group finding vehicles to fix up have no idea how time consuming this process is, it can take an entire game session to just get a single vehicle up and running, now you want it to respawn after I log out of the game so you can just walk up and have a repaired vehicle? Or maybe you mean respawn it needing to be fixed up again, which is just as bad because now someone else has to find all the parts only to lose the vehicle on logout. Apparently you did not see the amount of anger that was on display when vehicle saving was not working properly but let me clue you in, people hate losing hours of work because someone else is too lazy to find a vehicle. Increase the vehicle amount sure, make it so inactive vehicles respawn after a couple of days fine, but if you think anyone is going to be fine with losing vehicles to make your dayz life easier you are mistaken.

The best part of takistan life is playing a terrorist and setting an IED next to a car and settimg it off for maximum damage. I always yell Allah Akbar after pulling it off. Doimg my part to strile fear in the hearts of the infidels.

Since there is no story you can just assume a NATO force was deployed to contain the infection. Realism. Just kidding, I could live without the L85, but after running into numerous groups using it to spot I will not put mine down until everyone else does. Finally picked up an AS50 TWS just to test the optics yesterday (I bury the body or backpack delete the weapon normally) and that thing is ultra cheap. The site is easier to view targets and don't worry after murdering a cow I destroyed the weapon.

What I meant was at least play legit, newb sniping is what bored people with no imagination do. Got into an awesome helicopter battle in fallujah today and took down a helicopter and two of its occupants, third guy managed to hit the driver with a DMR from the ground, that was a skilled shot that ended up killing both of us. I would call that an awesome kill made possible by a skilled sniper.

Yea but it lacks honor, you died they earned your gear. On a related not why were you playing chernarus when fallujah is up and running.

We all rant it's alright, find a legit one though the AS50 TWS is cheap. Sniping without any honor makes the person a griefer.

I want to like takistan but the endless desert runs really suck at certain spawns. Been playing fallujah all day and the vehicles are awesome (hummer with .50 Cal was epic, had three kills within 15 minutes with that beast) but I still can't decide how I feel about the place. I love Chernarus but it feels stale, so I give the edge to lingor but hope there is a new contender in the multiple maps that will be released.

I know how you feel, if it weren't for new maps I would have walked away a couple of Weeks ago. Legit is the only way to go in this game, the day I actually start using cheap guns or duping is the day I know I should have walked away sooner. Have a good one man, sucks to see another friendly walk away.

Ignore the shitty houses and find apartment row, airfield, market, or schools. Found plenty of shit my character just wont save anything.

My character deletes all gear not on tool belt or backpack on every login, I had a hacker run in that was very epic (attempted to give me a loot box and I took an IED and blew up the building, then watched him crash airplanes onto everyone on the server, was teleported in the air when the server restarted) so wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Pretty much what he said, but with one edition. 5. Don't trust people with an AS50 TWS, they most likely enjoy killing players and also don't care about being cheap.

I don't think it is easy to hack in vehicles at this point, that is why so many teleport to them or use ESP hacks. Know your enemy.

Fun fact, that particular M4 variant is not in the game, although it doesn't add anything to crazy to the game. Well it has a flashlight but nothing too special.

Yea I might not agree with carrying hacked in items but I never get worked up about variants that aren't a huge step up from guns in the game. I will call every player carrying an AS50 TWS newb cannon a pussy cheater because that is what they are, but a M4 variant doesn't really get my blood boiling. If the guy killed him for that I would mock the poster, but I feel no sympathy for him here because this is how dayz works. Most will not kill you in these situations, but the fact it can happen keeps you on your toes. Lesson, why the Fuck are you letting them get behind you for the easy execution immediately after meeting up?

You will catch a cold so make sure to bring a sweater. I dont have patience to camp cherno so I definitely lack the patience for this.

Battleye will be compromised in a week or two, but maps like Lingor and maybe Fallujah are east to gear up in so it matters less plus hackers are dealt with easier in private servers.

There are sections in that map that are just terrible, and the desert landscape just maps the long runs even worse. It is not all bad though, if you get a decent spawn it can be interesting.

So sad that people can't enjoy a full server, I will say what others have said just far less eloquently. Just play and make sure zero fucks were given when hacked. Or go private, netter feel and more freedom in well run private servers.

Play Takistan, depending on your spawn it can be all desert for what seems like eternity, followed but shitty houses as far as the eye can see. I actually had fun on there last night for the first time, so it isn't always bad but I did almost quit after running through the desert to the main air base.

Beauty of community maps is they can fill a niche and keep the mod fresh while the developers are busy making the actual game. It is free new content, sounds like a great deal for a large portion of the community who might not be playing as regularly without some variation in the game. I know I love Lingor and without that map I would not play nearly as much.

I am sure you are just curious, has nothing to do with the recent ban wave. Don't listen to smasht_AU, it is connected to your brain waves and will block you from ever accessing the game again.

The thread is about weapons not in Dayz, if you are told this more than a couple of times we all need to just assume you are a full blown moron for continuing to bring up weapons that are legitimately in Dayz.

I will tell people on side chat it was me most of the time, but a couple of times I am fairly sure it got me hack attacked right after so I understand why many would not answer. I usually give someone props for a good kill, it is a gentleman's sport.
