Bonfire, buying bases and 'rules'

Sounds fun, private hive they can do what they want with their server. The rules about the bases are pretty weak though, other than that kill a guy who paid for the starting gear and now you have a free setup. -

Heretic. OP I completely get what you are saying, I had hand surgery a week ago and unable to play video games and re-watched the entire series while off work and all it made me want to do was play DayZ even worse. Got so bad I fired it up and was defenseless against any human threat but had a grand time running over zombies and pretending I was actually friendly. -

Messing with you man, if that is hostility to you then I greatly admire the life you have led so far where someone making fun of you slightly is hostility. The reason I am messing with you is because you are jumping to conclusions with zero proof. I could point to his statements of testing these architecture changes and the fact that closed testing is right around the corner but unless I suddenly work for BI my opinion is just as useless. Edit: Fine I was being a dick, but your view still lacks any proof.

Looks great and the new interiors will definitely add depth to the game. Really looking forward to the UI changes and further development on customization of objects and degradation. Can not wait to see what is under the hood of the new game. It is called a whisper kick. -

Variety is the spice of life. I went on a 3-4 month pure survival kick when I first started but at this point I enjoy "casual" DayZ servers with starting loot and a great deal of vehicles. A good example is Taviana, without a vehicle the map is too large to do anything, with a vehicle the map is awesome. -
I am such a nerd for this game, I get to work today and instantly see this news and instead of tackling the huge amount of stuff I put off before my vacation I spend 45 minutes reading articles and comments related to this game. Glad to see for one day this thread will have useful information but have to laugh at the amount of posts that will ask for closed testing access due to the tumblr post.

Killed a guy at Object A2 yesterday and while it looked like I was camping the entrance I had literally just came up the ladder to hear a guy running around. He complained about it but then another player came and started whispering "bandits are horrible people," and "all bandits must die." I ran out of the compound hoping to catch him but he had a 203 and murdered me at the wall with a well placed shot, had to laugh at the guy hunting me down and murdering me over my bandit ways.

Look up the M4 CCO SD and the stats are the same, the only real difference is the scope and maybe a flashlight.

Lingor has always been my favorite map. Namalsk is awesome though and I really need to give Taviana another run.

My feelings exactly. Even if I never played DayZ again I will look back at this mod as something extremely fun and original. I did recently start playing again and the recent additions through the community patches has been great, plus I had never tried Namalsk and that map was worth coming back for. The one thing that drove me insane was I forgot how to fight DayZ zombies effectively to the point that I actually died to them on my first trip back in an embarrassingly short amount of time. I remember way back when I thought the date would be pushed like most games, looks like it has been pushed and that only confirms my suspicion that Rocket is indeed human.

Bought ArmA 2 for DayZ but have had some fun on the other mods available for this game. Currently been playing Wasteland and will say buying Arma 2 and OA has more than paid off. -
I am going to speculate that you were paid to post that comment to increase Arma II Steam sales even further. Whoa this is all starting to unravel right before my eyes. On a serious note after seeing the train crash that just occurred on Steam I can live with a delay for a better product (Zombie Jesus dies from anticipation as he waits for the DayZ forums to process his comment).

I was already fairly nerded out for this game but man now I just can not wait. Recently got back into DayZ after a month long break and it is like riding a bike (so I died when I hit a rock lol). Great news to hear a good foundation is being laid for countless hours of gaming fun. -
I do not really fear this, shit happens in game development and if the game is not up to his standards I would prefer to get it later. I have played games that felt rushed and would prefer this one to be good. I am getting very nerdy about this game coming out so I get being disappointed with a delay.

Clear overreaction by a touchy admin, not surprising but it was not ban worthy. I have done the same thing but since I am a fairly bad pilot I usually crash 20 meters away. Edit: Allah Akbar just means God is Great and Muslims will say it in many other situations besides terrorism, like most things with the religion terrorists hijack it for their own purposes. But it is still funny to say before committing an act of violent suicide because frankly it fits.
