I think the stupidest way I have ever died was due to my friend... So here we were (in the Mod, not the SA) having finally for our first time made our way to the NWAF, and we heard gunfire nearby... we were on high alert. I had him keep watch outside the barracks hidden in some near by foliage, and I went in. I got about halfway in to the barracks and simultaneously all of the doors opened and zombies began walking out each room. (I have no idea what happened here, maybe thats how they used to spawn but they don't seem to anymore) Well it caught me totally off guard, and I quickly found myself on the ground bleeding out with a broken leg. I called out for help from my friend, and as he was on his way over I got on my knees to be able to take out the zombies surrounding me a bit better... He turns the corner in to the door way, BAM I die. I happened to be running fraps at the time, and I was rather confused as to how I went from 8k blood to dead so fast... So I went back and checked. Only after running it by frame by frame did I figure out what happened. My buddy turned the corner, and started firing his Winchester, and the very first shot missed the 3 zombies between myself and him, and hit me directly in the face as I was getting up to a kneeling position, instantly killing me. It took me a while to trust him with a gun anywhere around me again.

Desktop or laptop? Desktop Monitor resolution: 1920x1080 CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE (Overclocked to 3.8GHz) Graphics card: Zotac Geforce GTX 760 AMP! Edition (OC'd to 1150Mz gpu and 6880Mhz memory) RAM: 16GB SSD? (Yes/No) No I'm sure my computer would be capable of running it, I'm just wanting to make sure it would get decent FPS(preferably at max/near max graphics)

I recently started a new private server for myself and a few friends to explore and mess around in, but im experiencing an issue. Whenever anyone logs out after they have moved a bit away from spawn points, their body appears to fall to the floor shortly after they log out to other players, and is lootable. They did not die. Upon logging back in, the body on the floor disappears and they spawn randomly at another spawn point. What could be causing this issue? I really am enjoying this map so far and i would hate to not be able to play because of such a seemingly minor issue, any help would be appreciated.

I'd just like to say that i cant find anything on this anywhere else on teh googlez or anything either but IT DOES HAPPEN. I was playing around on a solo map edited game with NO AI WHAT SO EVER. I was flying around in a UH-1H huey(the one that is available in DayZ) to practice some flying in it, and BAM. middle of the night, i see a bright flash, loud boom, and all of a sudden all systems in the chopper are disabled, but the hull is completely intact. Everything but the hull was red. I wasnt far above the ground and was able to safely crash land the huey and repair it but there is NO other explanation as to what happened other then i was struck by lightning. It was 1am server time, and the middle of a thunderstorm, and being 100m above the ground in the middle of no where means i definitely didnt hit anything. nothing i can think of could disable all systems with out touching the hull in a split second.

Ha. I get the feeling you are a member of the AtS clan that we had a run in with in cherno a couple nights back. You sir are a fucking ass. I am ~{SoH}~ Desperado and just for the record our ACTUAL clan members never engage without either being shot at first or not getting a response over direct comm if they are or are not friendly. I've ran with them for a week now in many of their missions including a 10 hour cherno take over for lolz, in which we stock piled 6+ tents in the middle of the streets of supplies for any new players/fresh spawns to take from, and we got attacked by the ::AtS:: clan. Being the middle of the night I dont think they realized just how many members we had in Cherno(8-10 at the time). Speaking of ::AtS:: Godg@mer or whatever it is server hopped to get on a roof we had 2 snipers on. failed to see me prone on the edge somehow despite walking OVER me so i filled him with a clip of a glock. Lol... If it is you guys thats just sad to resort to this. If it isnt you, well whoever you are who has a grudge against us, take it to cherno some time. Quit making us look bad and see if you can actually hold your own against our members.

Shameless self bump. I really want to be able to see...

So I have an issue that I cannot find a thread on already. When I look up towards the sky(even away from the sun, or even if its just the edge of the sky in my view), or I look at almost any surface that isn't the ground itself and the sun is shining on it, my screen becomes extremely dim. When I look at the ground and the sun is not shining on it, the screen becomes more normally bright(such as when indoors). This is causing me many issues as it makes attempting to spot possible enemies and zombies in the distance out doors extremely difficult, to almost impossible. My friend does not have this issue. His screen does dim/brighten depending on what he sees as I described above, but its not even close to as drastic as what I get. The server I was just on is around 3pm server time, and facing away from the sun and looking above the horizon just slightly I am presented with my screen dimming down to the point that i can barely make out what is a few feet in front of me. This can be so severe as to dim my screen down because a sun shaft through a window is shining on the barrel of a gun in my sights even. Its simply unplayable and I would like to know what graphics setting if there is one that i can adjust to fix this. I generally play at the standard 'High' Settings with shadows turned down to normal, but I've tried turning it to very low, and to absolute max settings and the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated. <3
