Will my PC be able to run DayZ?

Also you can go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri and it scans your computer to see if it is compatible for a certain game. Just choose ArmA2 and run it. If it isn't above the recommended then I wouldn't bother playing DayZ until you upgrade your computer.

Will my PC be able to run DayZ?

Maybe on low settings like 15-20 fps. Maybe. The game requires a very good CPU so a recommended minimum CPU would be something like i5-3570k CPU.
  6. I did. And I don't regret it.
  7. Is that the same engine as what the DayZ Mod is on now?
  8. Alright so I'm looking to buy and make one of these PCs. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tL2t - Right now I'm leaning to buy this one. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tL2J If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations let me know please.

    Possible new PC for Xmas

Also another question :D Since I will get the 2TB HDD and the 120GB SSD, which one do I use for what. I understand that you should install Windows 7 on the SSD because it is much faster however, would I put all my games, music, etc on the SSD or on the HDD?

Also I'm curious what FPS do you think I would get with this build for ArmA2/DayZ? If I overclock it and everything.

What type of cooling fan do you suggest? Water cooled? Also I don't want to spend more than $40 on one if I don't have to. And I am getting an HD TV for Christmas as well and I have an Acer 1024 x 768 moniter and speaker system.

    Possible new PC for Xmas

Well since this is my first ever PC build I don't really have experience with video cards but I've watched videos of benchmarking GTX 670 SLI vs HD 7970 Crossfire and almost every video it says that the GTX 670 SLI is better for games that I will be playing such as BF3.
  18. Ok how about this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tL2J or http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tL2t
  19. Ok here is what I'm looking at now. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tJdH - For that one can you edit or recommend anything that I can do to make it around $1500-1600 but still have good performance. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tJgB - This would be more ideal for me but I would much rather prefer to have the first one if it was slightly cheaper.
  20. Ok well I don't have any personal preference as I've never built a PC before so I'd rather go with your preferences. And here is a build I've come up with on my own if you can suggest anything. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tIPt
  21. I really appreciate the help guys. Also I've had someone come up with this build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tHUC What do you guys think?
  22. Yeah if only I had any clue how to build one.
  23. If you don't mind could u help me shop for parts to put together a good PC? :D I would love you for ever.
