Err, it is fixed. Make sure your running the latest patches and more importantly make sure the server your using is up to date. P.s - the car idea is bonkers. Why would people spend hours fixing up a vehicle just to lose it on a server restart. They are available to everyone, you just have to find one.

I couldn't look at the screen for too long because of the shocking colour scheme on that website. Good luck though.

My best was over 700 zed kills and and I'm quite an evasive player. I've seen people with many more. If you survive for anything over 7 days then the kills rack up fairly quickly.

Well you could try hunting medics if your up for a challenge. Just because we help people with medical needs doesn't mean we've hung up our gun's. Quite the opposite. You'll quickly find out that keeping a constant supply of meds and frequently entering dangerous situations voluntarily means that Medics are some of the most skillful and tactically aware people you'll meet in DayZ.

Well, your wrong on almost every level and I'll explain why. When I first used a Medic (the only time I have) my character was 5 days old and I had spent a lot of time setting up a base camp. I didn't want to give that up because of being injured a the NWAF, so I called a Med. He came and patched me up and my character lived to the ripe old age of 9 days. Also I made a good friend and we have now formed a team. So that's two good reasons so far. Also, once you get to the point of being able to survive fairly easily and find the loot you want, you basically have to find something else to do. For some people that involves sitting on Dobry hill shooting people which requires no skill whatsoever. Some of the best DayZ moments I have had have been while trying to get to a patient or trying to protect them. It's basically good fun AND TAKES SKILL TO DO IT PROPERLY. Also, at the start of the Wasteland thread it clearly says not to ask for the help of a medic unless you have a character worth saving. I'm sure many ignore this but that's life. So when you have all the gear you want and your finding basic survival pretty easy, what are you going to do with your time?

Use an axe. Or just keep throwing things at it, it'll break eventually. P.s - the zeds can't enter the hospital so you can loot aggro free.

Oh it was you! At least I know if I need to trade I can give you a shout. With that in mind I'm currently looking for a MK.48. If you find one I'll make you a good offer and meet wherever you want, preferably on a server without nametags :) .

Nicely done! I've met some good people too by trading and doing medical stuff. On a side note, don't you think playing on a server with character ID and distancing kind of ruins it for you. You have a Ghillie and a great gun but anyone can just look in your general direction and get an exact location no matter how well hidden you are. It kind of defeats the object of getting nice gear like rangefinders and so on. Also it makes it much too easy for noob snipers to judge range and start shooting. It's just my opinion but for a trade like that I'd want to make it as hard as possible for anyone to spot the overwatch position. It also means that Snipers have to be much more skillfull in order to get a good shot off.

Or just try the tutorial missions supplied with Arma. There's a shooting range, medical tutorial, basic movement, helicopter tutorial, hell, you can even try skydiving from a plane. Also there is an armoury where you can try weapons until your hearts content. Basically, disable DayZ in your Arma expansions and try playing Arma. Everything you need is already there.

Or just log off prone in a fir tree.

There's a difference between a noob asking for advice and a bitching whining thread interspersed with "fuck this" and "fuck that". Did you read the OP. Also, it often pays to just sit and listen. Don't get tunnel vision when your looting. When your in a safe spot, stop for a bit and try to take in what's going on around you. Often you'll be able to let other players run right past you without a conflict.

Yup, it'd get boring fast if it wasn't risky.

That's the nature of the game and what makes it so tense. If you played on your own you could just skip around town gearing up and it'd soon become pretty boring. Edit *- There is supermarkets and loot in quieter towns too. Try Berizino or some of the smaller towns up north. Whenever I see people getting pissed off about constantly getting shot it's usually because they never leave Cherno or Electro. It's a big map, go and explore it.

If you don't use hacks or ghosting then it's always a fair kill. The only other question is morals and that's entirely up to the individual.

Why question the whole community becuase of one shooting? And like Buffjesus says, you were swimming towards a heli spawn site and he may have been acting as a look out.

Can i have the coords so that I can run over all of the tents and then frag the hoarded vehicles?

The tents are fixed when it comes to storing things. The duping is still a a massive issue though.
