Get yourself some camo or a Ghillie. I've got the hero skin, it's a nice change and looks ok but it's not going to stop me getting shot.

Agreed, I don't like the AWS. I'm loving the FAL with the nightscope though, it's a beast!

How do you know it was a hacker? I'm not saying it wasn't, there's just a lot of posts floating around ATM from people that basically just got out-played and are convinced it must be a hacker because of their SkiIIlZZ.

Err, it is fixed. For me anyway. Is the server your playing on up to date? If not you'll keep having the same issue, there's a server-side hotfix that the admins need to applly.

I think the bodies stay put until buried or the server restarts. Also, they don't decay :(

I always set up a temporary tent when I raid areas like that, at least you can hold onto some of your gear if you can't find the ladder and insist on trying to hurdle a pile of rocks with aggroed zombies slapping your arse.

I agree with the duping issue although I'm not sure it can actually be fixed in the mod. You might have to wait until the standalone which won't be long! I don't like the idea of magical lockable tents though. That's the risk you run setting up a camp. I've never understood why groups stash everything including vehicles in one place, your just making it too easy for people to find. Your also giving them the means to empty your tents and drive off into the sunset loaded with all of your gear. I never put more than one tent in a camp and I stash vehicles away from the tents. At least the thieving bastards will have to work for my stuff. I also like to put a bear trap or two near my vehicles if I have them.

Mine is legit, found at a spawn. it has camo but is not silenced. If you see a silenced one, it's hacked.

I have a few methods: 1) Hoard all the smoke grenades you can, wait fot the Zeds to spawn and then throw a grenade about 100M from the area from the area you want to loot. They'll all head for the grenade. Sweet. It's quiet too. Perfect for heli crash sites. 2) Fire an almighty shot with a loud gun from the edge of a village. Zeds follow the sound not you. Loop around the edge while they all go to where you fired your shot. 3) Norwiegan tree dancing technique: Aggro as many Zeds as you can, lead them away from the area you want to loot and into the trees. Then zig-zag through bushes and the edge of fir trees while crouching and head back to town.

That was some bad luck fella! I've lost count of the amount of people I've patched up and I haven't been double-crossed once, I've even made a couple of good friends. Keep trying.
