If you disable the speakers in Control Panel/Sound that should sort you out. It sounds like you have both enabled. Just right-click on speakers and choose disable. -
Not different modes, an actual life cycle with different stages of infection. This would result in a much less predictable envoironment with a more "natural" evolution of the virus.

In the standalone they are going to attempt to have a whole life cycle for the infected.

Sometimes after gutting an animal there's a delay before you can collect the meat from the carcass. -

Could these graphics card run arma 2?

Either one could run it on medium settings or higher. Arma uses a lot of processing power so your PC will need a good processor to run it well. Basically, you'll need a balanced machine, not just an old PC with a new GFX card in it. -
