Stuff is only being repeated over and over if you keep going to different sites to read every available interview or article. As Lauren said, that's the nature of the beast when dealing with press. They all want their own personal interview when really there's only about 20 mins worth of information worth sharing. With regards to the standalone or the future of the mod, apart from what you already know everything is just speculation so I can only suggest chilling out and waiting. Or all popping round to Lauren's for dinner. -

Yup. You don't need to be whitelisted to post on there. Just put a message up saying your an aspiring medic and see what happens. Or respond to some of the messages for help. Explain that your not Whitelisted yet and you'll get loads of takers. That's what I did. Also, people will get used to seeing you on the thread so it's good for your rep. -
If you buy the standalone you will own it. Simple as. The earlier you buy it, the cheaper it will be. Prices haven't been confirmed yet.

I see where your coming from but they've not really had time to confirm things and update the new website. They've gone straight from announcing the standalone to doing the whole conference/publicity thing. Now they're back thing's will be moving forward. Some people (like this threads OP) think Rocket has lost sight of the game or is chasing money but you only really have to read a couple of articles to understand where he's coming from. -

Wow, there's some real microphone Nazi's in here. I always play with a mic but people saying don't bother to play without one need to understand not everyone can. Sometimes my brother plays for example, but he's got a baby so doesn't want to make much noise in the evenings, also, his missus is trying to chill out after a long day at work. Him shouting "Friendly!" every 5 mins will be a sure-fire way to piss the whole household off. -

It's just really fiddly. It takes a while but you'll be able to grab it eventually. I usually give up and move on but that's because I've never found a tent in one.
