That's referring to the pricing structure. If you buy it early (Alpha) it will be heavily discounted. You will only pay for it once. As development moves forward (Beta) the price will rise until the final version 1.0 is release at full retail price. Edit - Boneboys Ninja'd me, it's a good point though.

I'd personally rather wait to make sure it's done properly. As the forum is full of QQ threads at the moment I'm worried they'll rush it out to try and calm people down. -
So just to clarify, your last posts have been complaining about lack of communication and a fix and now you have that communication you've got nothing better to say than "lololol"?

BTW, Rocket just posted a tweet (minutes ago) stating that he's going to make a decision today about releasing a hotfix or waiting to release it with the impending patch. I guess they haven't given up on it just yet then... -

Yes it's frustrating at the moment but your also ill informed. They haven't "given up" on this game. You only need to read one recent article or interview to understand this. -
One of the main reasons they wan't to go standalone so quickly is because their hands are tied in the mod without access to the game engine. Rocket has openly said that currently the Mod is broken. I understand your rage though (sort of).

It was me that said maybe you should have a big red phone in your room that rings every time Rocket farts. To put it in context it was in a long QQ thread about the lack of patches and updates. With hindsight I shouldn't have aimed it at you as you were one of the few people on that thread making any sense. Please accept my apologies. -
Regardless of that, it still needs a patch from BI to resolve it completely.

Again, if it was that simple, it would already have been dealt with. They thought they had fixed it in the last patch, then they realised there's bigger issues concerning the Arma engine itself. Not just a few objects on the map. It's also why this patch has been delayed because it's become a massive issue for them. Because it's a mod they don't have access to the engine so it becomes a harder issue to fix. The bug can only be fixed once and for all when BI release a patch for Arma 2.

It's actually an issue being caused from within the Arma engine. That's why it's been so hard for them to fix because they don't have access to it. If it was just a case of deleting some objects it would have been fixed on day one.
