Cool. Someone ran a poll about it and the general consensus was that everyone is in favour of a wipe to re-balance the game.

You won't get a global ban just for carrying an L85, it's legit. You must have been up to no good. You'll need to contact Battleye or buy a new version of Arma. Until then you won't be able to play Arma or DayZ.

It depends on your ban. if it's a Global ban then you banned from everything Arma related. If it's a server ban (which is more likely) then your just banned from that server. If you post that video, I really won't love you at all ;)

I vote for the default text against the black ;) Anything else does my eyes in. Ignoring the new bug's and so on, I'm pretty happy with the way it's going. The standalone looks like it's going to be awesome.

I love the idea of changing scopes but I agree with agippo, it shouldn't be as easy as just clicking a couple of buttons. Having to zero it correctly would mean there's some skill involved.

I can recommend you a great UK server but it's been averaging 15 people lately, I'm guessing because of the bugs as it's always been pretty hacker free. The Admins are active. Hopefully it's going to pick up again after today's hotfix. -

Apparently they're revising the whole weather system for the standalone. I'd love to see seasons though.

Arma2Free and OA together will run DayZ but you will have lower quality textures and sound because the free version is a smaller download. It works fine though. The simplest way is just to buy Arma Combined Ops or Arma X. They have everything you need.
