You are playing a mod during the testing phase. If your looking for a more complete/stable/feature rich experience I suggest waiting for the finished game.

Your "research" is useless. All you have done is told us something that every member of the DayZ community and every dev is already aware of. At least the fact you were banned tells us that Battleye works to some extent. If you cared even slightly about the future of this project you would have posted your findings to one of the devs or an admin without feeling the need to tell the world about your hacking. As I've said, this would have been pointless anyway, because the information you have given is already available to the devs. This demonstrates to me that you are proud of your exploits and have made a post here to get some sort of attention since you are now banned. I look forward to the future of DayZ. Hacking will remain an issue as long as there are computer programmes. I hope one day you'll buy a game legitimately and enjoy it as intended. Many of us here work hard in our daily lives and enjoy the escapism a game like this can offer. People like you ruin that experience, for me that is the worst part about what you do. *Thread locked - We don't need another hacking thread, or another hacker "contributing" to the forum.

Without the open Alpha they would have never got the backing to make the standalone. This would still be a tiny mod running off 1 server and this forum would have about 20 members. Edit, Dallas Ninja'd me :(

It's mainly dessert so it doesn't sound like much fun to me. It was great for tank battles in Arma, but I'm not sure it will work with DayZ.

This is just a testing phase for different game mechanics and ideas. It's not supposed to be feature rich or in any way a complete game. The reason the numbers have gone down is because many of the people that jumped on board because of the media hype have now left. Also, the people playing on private hives aren't included in the player numbers. Many people have tried it and moved on to either play something else or wait for the standalone. The hacking has driven many people away, again this problem won't really be solved until the final game is released.

I use surround sound and hadn't noticed that. I think it's directional until your pretty close and then It's just a big room filling noise? I guess not. Your right though, thunder sounds awesome with a sub.

Well, were knee deep in this thread now and all we've really found out is that you've got a 24 hour ban for carrying a hacked weapon. Buy the time we get to the bottom of this your ban will be lifted and the world can resume spinning. P.S - Hacking and admin abuse are 2 different things.
