I have a friend with the same issue. Most FPS games make him feel sick after a while. Weird. I wouldn't worry though, there's no way they are going to remove 3rd person view. -
Update your beta patch and then join via the Arma multiplayer menu.

I just play on expert servers. No third person, no magic map, no crosshairs. You should try it, it's a far better game like that.- 81 replies

Some people would call it cold blooded murder, others would say survival of the fittest. I lost everything today too :( . I just got KO'd by a random Z whilst looking at my map though, that's even worse!

if I read enough books will I be able to make carpaccio of beef? It requires some pretty fine slicing but my karate hands could become lethal weapons of doom.

Hmmm. Interesting. I'm trying not to bash the idea but you are aware the you've just suggested that players read books on karate so that they can chop wood with their bare hands?

When you reach level 10 you should be able to fillet blow-fish and ride a swan. Chopsticks will have a x 3 chance of spawning.

Both of these things are planned. The standalone will have a backstory, but only if the player want's to try to find out what happened. All spawn behaviours, for weapons and zeds are being re-written so will be completely different.
