BTW, for people obsessed with post count: That's actually the least important part of qualifying. The status is to recognise people that have contributed much of their time and effort to the community. It will remain a very elite status (currently only one member). Spamming the forum's to raise your post count will not have the desired effect.

Actually it's not a selfish agenda. They don't make money from it, they do it because they want to contribute to the community, something you've just said you're a fan of. I happen to know the guys well over at Planet-DayZ and the forums have recently been getting complaints from confused users mistaking the Planet-DayZ forum for the DayZ Planet complaints department. That was all he was referring to, nothing else, so hop off your high horse before your next post please. -
I hereby vote for myself because I prefer the yellow ID to my shabby blue one. If I need to get the devs drunk and flatter them all night then so be it.

Here's an idea. Load Arma, the game you've just bought and play the tutorials, that will teach you everything you need to know about controls. With regards to your character saving, your progress get's saved to a HIVE. So if you change HIVES you will change characters. If you stay on the same hive you can log back in and all of your progress will be saved automatically. -

I follow a few gaming sites and I noticed some stories popping up about this buggy little mod that is breaking some boundaries. I've played Arma for years so already had the software. I just downloaded the mod and I was good to go. No Youtube or COD needed. -
Pro-tip - Avoid public servers, find a good private one with good admins, it'll save you a lot of heartache.

Apache - do you realise you're becoming infamous for your suggestions? I remember giving you some advice when you were new about suggestions. Well, you seem to have completely ignored that advice and keep posting suggestions that have been posted a million times before, oh well. P.S - If you bump your thread again I'm gonna bury it deep in the graveyard. Edit, actually I'm going to give you a warning and a temp posting ban for having an abusive sig. That should kill 2 birds with one stone.

Does your character save individually on the different maps?

It saves to the HIVES. So if you play on public servers your character data is stored on the public HIVE and will be the same on every public server. If you play on a Private server, your progress is saved on whatever HIVE they are using. Usually that means it is just for that server but some have multiple servers sharing a HIVE meaning you can swap servers and keep the same character. -
