Standalone december release is alpha or full game?

December is the alpha release. It will be heavily discounted to people that want to buy it in the alpha stage and then it will be released at full price (still a low price point though) when the final version is finished.

The whole zombie design is pretty flawed.

It's a mod. The zombies are basically modified soldiers using modified soldier AI. That's why you get the strange behaviour and the lack of variety. It's one of the reasons for making the SA. Things like this can be built from scratch rather than having to manipulate existing assets.

    Standalone HD skins...

The skins in the mod only look terrible if you don't have the right DLC. If you have the right texture packs they actually look pretty cool. Heres an example of how different the skins can look depending on what you have installed: Anyway, as mentioned above, the SA is an SA, not a mod. The skins will be more suitable for the game and won't be relying on old assets.

    DayZ SA Blog

I'd imagine so, they're pretty busy ATM which is a good thing ;) . With most devs I always take silence as a bad thing. With these guy's it means I know their busy, a long period of silence is usually followed by some pretty good news so I wouldn't worry too much

    Script Restriction #45

The admin has relied to your problem here: http://dayzmod.com/f...-us-303-dallas/ "I temporarily made it not kick for that. I don't know why it's not happening to everyone else, but it's just due to incompatibility with old BattlEye filters and the new version, apparently." If the problem persists, it'll be easier to carry on the discussion there. Locked.

    Trolling by an old man!

I'm sure I bumped into you in-game ages ago. You were unarmed (didn't have a bandit skin). I didn't shoot as you ran up to me. I said "hi" or something and you said "thanks for not killing me!" in that same voice from your vid and ran off. Your character had a grey beard. It made me chuckle!
  7. Then you have to land your heli on it.

Admin ban on the most of the sevrers

No worries. I'm not really sure what else to suggest for now, good luck though.

Ban help, not sure if it's really an appeal.

Not that I know of. I'm not really sure on the technicalities of how the CBL updates to servers. I'll try and find out for you, in the mean time just check back here and someone better informed may be able to help you.

Ban help, not sure if it's really an appeal.

That sound like just a regular admin ban. If you're getting it on a lot of servers maybe you're back on the CBL.

What does the actual message say when you can't join?

Admin ban on the most of the sevrers

Sorry, I meant the admins will need to search their logs, not you. All you can do is appeal the ban on the CBL site. Good luck.

Admin ban on the most of the sevrers

AGAIN, you can only be added to the CBL with a lot of evidence from server admins, usually more than one is required. READ THE STICKIES ABOUT IT, that's why we put them there.

Rocket, Don't leave us out the SA!

Well, to put this topic to rest. Rocket is currently discussing the game development on the forums as I type. Nuff said really.
  15. Oh yes he did! Rare parka, you tease...
  16. I've just had a thought too. Fed up with that clan ruling the server? Send one of your disease riddled members in as a new recruit and watch their numbers drop rapidly. Either that or poo in their favourite water source.
  17. For me the whole disease system will be the biggest game changer in the future if it's implemented well. As well as the zeds and basic survival I'm pretty sure in this sort of scenario disease would be the biggest concern for survivors. The potential of the game dynamics it could introduce are pretty fascinating and would move the whole genre ahead leaps and bounds.
  18. Smash is my DayZ hero XXX OP - Forget what I said about contacting Battleye, they have better things to do.
  19. Playing on these servers or using these weapons can't result in a global ban. Downloading dodgy software or running scripts however can. We have no control over these bans. You will need to contact Battleye. Please check the stickies for all the info you need. (moved)
  20. If that was the case disease wouldn't be an issue in third world countries or after disasters anywhere else.

    Guess The Location ! (Chernarus)

    OK, lets do this!
  22. Good point. Although in Chernarus, as in the real world, I guess there would be people with this knowledge already. Allowing a bit of cheeky meta-gaming kind of fills in this hole. Or not. I'm still thinking about it :/ .
  23. As well as the whole medic thing (which is how I enjoyed playing for quite a while) it's the way groups will deal with this that I find interesting. If you have a group and one of your members has a disease that you really aren't sure how to cure then I'm sure there'll be some outcasts wandering around. Also, the potential for medics being even more of an asset is great news for me.
  24. I like where this is going... The thought of the more high population areas becoming a big health risk is mind boggelingley exciting when it comes to gameplay and the way it could effect player/group behaviour/dynamics.
