I don't follow you at all. Bis has always strongly supported modders, it's the only reason DayZ exists at all. The SA will be very different and much more polished than the mod. The modders will continue to tinker with the mod as they always do. Over time it will become something entirely different from the SA. -
What the hells going on today. Every other suggestion involves eating each other or shitting on each other.

If the prefix was Global Ban then it means you won't be able to play in most servers because you've been banned by Battleye. You can check my sig for more details. -

Why are people getting their knickers in a twist about using VAC. It's been clearly stated multiple times that this is just one of the measures being used, not the only thing protecting DayZ from hackers. Combine that with the fact that people could lose their Steam account if caught and the risks for hackers start adding up. -

As long as the risks (disease) make it something you would only try out of despracy then It'd be great. Without the disease aspect, other players will just turn into walking lumps of meat to most people. -
Don't panic. Just disable one and run the game. If it doesn't work, re-enable it and then disable the other one and try again. After that you should look through your file structure and make sure everythings correct.

Hi mate, your English is fine. Here's the facts: The target date for the SA "Foundation Build" is December. Like with any game, this could be delayed but for now, it's still December. The "Foundation Build" may be lost in translation (?) a bit. The devs initial goal is to release a more polished and stable build of the game in December. Over the 12 months following the release the game will still be in heavy development with content and features being added as they are completed. I hope this helps! -

Hmm, interesting. I guess whatever supplier they used the broadband issues would remain the same though. Supplying a hard copy would introduce a massive cost (logistics) that we the consumer would have to pay for. Also, I'm not that knowledgable about Steam but can't you use them to download it and then run it seperatly like any other game? For me the main good aspect about using Steam is how easy it'll be to keep rolling out the patches. Considering the SA will be under heavy development for the next year after initial release keeping everyone up to date will be pretty crucial. The fact that the devs can just roll out a patch with one mouse click wiegh's heavily in Steams favour. -

I don't use Steam ATM either but I see no issues with it being used to roll out the SA. It makes sense if it's the best way to release the game and quickly apply patches over the next year. -
