We need some assholes on US46

Just make sure you're ready. Steak is the most skilled player with a Lee in DayZ, he may even ninja bloodbag you before you know what's happened. -
Question about the standalone.
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to bumgada's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It kind of makes sense but we don't really know what assets they've used from where. Don't forget one of the guy's working on the SA has been working with the engine for over a decade. He'll be able to pull in elements they like from Arma 3, TOH and Arma2 so it's a hybrid engine built to fill DayZ's needs. Confusing but true. -

Yup, we don't even even need to advertise for assholes, we got loads. Oh. -
Question about the standalone.
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to bumgada's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yup, you should be OK. The graphics in the SA should be slightly improved but the engine is better optimised so you should be good to go. -
What do I need to make DayZ run smoother?

If you ask in the tech thread there's loads of peeps there with much better knowledge than me ;) -

A message to anyone trolling here - STOP IT NOW. You've made your comments now move on. I'll be watching this thread and issuing posting bans to anyone I feel is trolling or just here to post negative comments. I won't censor, we are all allowed our opinions but it only takes one post to make your point. Multiple posts will be dealt with. -

What do I need to make DayZ run smoother?
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to Gravitee's topic in New Player Discussion
Yup, sorry mate. The integrated graphics card just isn't cutting it, they're not really designed for gaming. Try Gamebooster as the fella above said, it shuts down bg tasks so can get a little more performance but in the long run, you're going to have to spend some money :( EDIT - BTW, we have a thread called "can I run it" ask there, its where all the techies hang out and they give good advice. -
[FI] Fallen Immortals [Open Recruitment]
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to royale's topic in Clan / Group Recruitment
@ Morpe - Stop spamming your clan info all over the forums, I'm getting sick of removing it and other users hate it. Regarding this thread, read the rules - you can bump it once a day like everyone else, that's it. -
Cool, just so you know, it's rare for BE to reverse a ban now day's since there are VERY rarely any false positives. They usually ban for scripting. People have also been know to get their game keys stolen by downloading dodgy software so if you've downloaded anything recently and you're not 100% sure it's a trusted source that could be the culprit.

PonZ is even better. @ Mike - Install DayZCommander (google it, it's free). That keeps your game up to date and lets you browse servers. The de-bug menu was removed a while ago as it's not needed in this free mod any more.

Lol, I'm trying to help here.

Hi Mike, thanks for your feedback. Please try doing some basic searches before your next post or asking politely for help.

Your english is good, whereabouts are you from friend?
-
It sounds like your using headphones but the game is trying to send the sounds to different speakers. Enable your headphones and disable your speakers in Control panel, should help, also adjust the in-game settings.
-
Just as a heads up, if anyone PM's you or wants to Skype and then offers you any links or software to help you, tell them to p*ss off. Some people will try and steal CD keys this way.

desync on some servers but not others
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to crockett (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
If you're playing on a server that hasn't been re-started for a long time it can give you issues. it would explain the lack of loot spawns too. -
Continually Banned: No Idea why
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to Baller (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Now day's it's really hard to say without knowing what server you're on and what rules they have in place. It could just be douche admins too. -

You don't have to believe anyone. As an adult we look at facts/evidence and make our own decisions. (BTW, he;s not just a forum moderator lol) -
But, I'm very good.

Why it's a lovely DayZ wedding of course! @ Alice - Are their any positions open on the security team? I'm great with a gun and of course can be trusted beyond doubt.

DayZ Standalone Discussion
Fraggle (DayZ) replied to griffinz's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
In the long-run, many big gaming companies will be looking at DayZ and scratching their heads (already are probably) wondering why their millions of pounds in advertising and PR companies failed to generate as much interest as DayZ has without spending anything. It's simple, innovators innovate, the rest do their best to re-create the winning formula, rarely successfully. Everything is now in place for DayZ to succeed. The only thing that could ruin it is a rushed release or a sub-par game.
