You have each others details now so are able to sort this out yourselves. Using this forum for flaming and threatening each other is childish and won't be tolerated. Just to clarify, the admin of a private server can ban whoever they like and are not obliged to give you a reason however much you threaten them. Locked.

If you don't have a way of contacting them your best bet is hoping that they see this thread and respond. Search the forums to see if they have a server advert, maybe you can find them that way.

Typically BE will issue bans for running dodgy scripts in-game. It is also possible that your key got stolen and replaced with a banned one. This can happen in several ways but it can't simply be taken from you just by playing DayZ. Some people will try and lure you to download software by clicking links to performance tweaking software, hacks and other tempting things. This software will then swap your key. As with any game key it is your responsibility to keep it safe. Either way, it is highly unlikely that your ban will be lifted. If you need more details or want to pursue that course then only BE can help you. Technically DayZ is a free mod for Arma2 and that is what you have actually been banned from. With that in mind nobody here can help you.

Only BE will have the details of why you were banned.

STOP BUMPING THIS THREAD. Getting people to join your server can take time and there are many ways to go about it. Bumping this thread is against the rules and will actually put people off. Consider this a friendly warning, bump it once a day (max) and no more or action will be taken to prevent you from doing so.

I'd rather see home-made vehicles customised by players. Why not grab an offroad, weld some corragated roofing to the side for protection and then mount a PKM or Mk48 Mod 0 to the back using scaffolding bars. Much more fun to do and more fitting for the game. Rocket has said that vehicle customisation will be looked at in the future so it's not as silly as it sounds.

You will find many familiar things because WarZ copied DayZ (badly). Be prepared to find out how a game should be made. It's a much harder game with a lot more depth so you should be prepared to die quite a lot while you learn how to survive. Also, later today the devs are posting some gameplay footage from the new Standalone game that is being developed so keep an eye out for that, it should be interesting.

Hi. You should be directing your concern towards Battleye as they issue the bans. Technically they have banned you from Arma, DayZ is a free mod for that game, it is Arma you have purchased. We have no powers here to look into you're ban or indeed lift it. Bans are usually issued for running dodgy scripts in game, or it may be the case that your key got stolen. This can only happen if you download software that allows it to be stolen, it can't simply be taken from you in-game.

You could also install the free version of Arma 2 and then you'll be able to play but bear in mind you'll have lower quality texture and sound files than if you purchase the full Arma 2
