Glad to hear it. Making communal medic caches is a great idea, similar to something I used to do on public hives. Once you've set them up make the locations known to some of the trusted medics and let the positive karma start flowing. Welcome back.

Rossums, happened to me yesterday (same server as you too I think)! I was checking my gear when a friend decided to throw a can at my head. It hit me and I burst into flames for about 10 seconds or so. It was bloody funny. -

It's worth remembering that they will want to hold things back from the devblogs too. I personally don't want to see the whole new map inch by inch. Part of the fun of DayZ is exploring and revealing too much would ruin that. -

It's a secret. You will have to find it, for that is the point of DayZ. If I owned the interweb I'd delete every online DayZ lootmap in existence.

Server admins use the CBL voluntarily regardless of how broken it is. There is nothing anyone else can do about it. It's a "community" banlist so is in no way official or endorsed by BIS or the DayZ team and there is nothing they can do about it. As long as server admins keep using it, it will continue to be a problem, that's the guy's you should be asking to stop using it. You seem to be getting BE Global Bans, admin bans and third party antihax software bans all mixed up in your post. DO NOT GET ADMIN BANS MIXED UP WITH BE GLOBAL BANS, THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.

Private hive or white listed server with no side chat?

I used to play over at Pl@net DayZ on a server with those settings. I think they may have shut it down because it wasn't busy enough, they still have others though. Double check by putting either "Pl@netDayZ" or "Byrgesen" into your filters. I fear that the good servers with thise settings are a thing of the past. Edit - Hang on a sec, I think MZLY (the Mod) plays on a UK server with 3rd person disabled, might be worth checking with him, Ill ask when he's back on. -

Nope, you can hop in and out whenever you want without losing progress. it will suck you in though and it is a game that rewards patience. It's not really a game to play if you're looking for a quick fix, it's a massive map and there;s a lot to learn. Don't let the learning put you off, that's the fun part.

Not many games make people buy a whole new rig just to be able to play it, this one does. Also, it makes people shake with adrenaline. I shit you not, it literally does.
