I think rocket talked about Zeds having life cycles at some point depending on what stage of the infection they're at. If you're talking about the mod then it's a good idea.

Playing as a hero is far harder. Taking the easy route of being a bandit already has it's rewards. You don't have to approach anyone with caution or identify targets before pulling the trigger when defending yourself, you just kill them. Plus you get all of the loot from the people you kill so it's far easier getting geared up. -

Nope. It's because the devs changed their plans. The December release date was for when they just intended to polish up the mod and add some content. They then decided to do things properly and make it into a full game from the ground up, this is explained in past devblogs. I'm starting to wonder if people actually read them before commenting. This. Arma 3 has alpha plastered all over it and even during loading screens it tells you it's not a finished product. Even with that people are throwing their toys out of their prams about bugs and bad optimisation. -

What would you do with it? I've got loads of tea-towels at home but I still have to get antibiotics if I've got an infection. It should give you +30 washing-up XP bonus. -

I know. The first thing i do is turn that off. Arma's PPE has always sucked TBH. I had to do the same thing with Arma 3, it was slightly better but still does your eyes in. I wish they'd just disable it forever, I don't know a single person that plays with it on, apart from Rocket apparently. -

I'm sure they've set themselves internal deadlines but why set themselves up for a fall by telling us X will be achieved by Z date? It serves no purpose apart from putting more pressure on them than they already have and raising hopes. If one of those deadlines was to move or be changed for unexpected reasons (which is highly likely in game development, especially when trying things no other game has ever attempted) this forum would then be overflowing with tears by people feeling let down, cheated or lied to as we've seen in the past. I think by telling us it's done when it's done is actually treating us like adults. We just have to have patience, like an adult. -

Don't worry, just because the guy's you saw in the vid didn't look too chatty, I can assure you they do their bit when it comes to testing and have been submitting very comprehensive bug reports that help the devs no end. Believe it or not testing isn't fun. Of course it's cool being able to see the new map but ATM most features are disabled or only enabled one at a time for testing. -

Yes. Data is currently being motion captured and as I understand it will be added to the game further down the road along with new player skeletons, in fact skeletons that are newer than the ones used in Arma 3.
