First of all that bot idea is horrible, the servers take enough impact from the zombie's as it is, adding more non sense shit to the game would just slow it down, if you want to do callsigns grouping and have their names highlighted, you might as well go play COD zombies then. Grouping in dayz should never be allowed. AI bots guarding special loot places i can see, because it makes it a more intense experience, thinking that there are a band of military still operating in the Apocalypse. grouping system would just turn dayz into a pile of shit.

The server's SSD means its a huge primary flash drive technically, basically it runs and loads as fast as a Flash drive VS a hard-drive that has mech moving parts. the game will run alot smoother it may not increase your FPS but it will take off a heavy load on the servers end, so instead of the server catching up to you, you find yourself trying to keep up with the server. example for server short comings Shot registration, Items loading and unloading, how fast and smooth texture comes to you, or the famous driving at 75miles per hour then a barricade/tree/building pops up in-front of you.

Wud up, i'm not new by any means. with that being said. i don't care if your good or not, i plan on getting team-speak, ventrilo or something of the sort. if your interested please drop a reply or a priv message. ingame settings: is your post-processing effect on? needs to be turned off, same with vsync. Video Memory needs to be at default make sure your 3d res is the same as your interface resolution. keep in mind that "lag" can mean many things,... lol when you launch your game from dayz commander do you turn it off? there is a setting inside the settings tab that says close dayz commander when you start dayz. dayz commander refreshes all the servers which has a huge toll on your bandwidth

you see arma 2 take 88% from your HDD, thought most games are very well balanced with gpu and cpu, arma is not, arma runs off of your harddrive if you do not have the -winxp -world=empty -maxmem-2047 and -nosplash in your launch option inside your dayz commander, then you will only be useing 2gb of your RAM thus making the other 8 completely useless. the ram disk is only so you can use everything dayz related to actually use all the ram you have insted of the 2 the applacation gives you the maxmem-2047 command is and extra 2GB of ram.

ugh, just trust me, i have more ram and processing speeds than you and i use it. just follow the steps:)
