  1. I'm sure this has been suggested before, but bear with me here: Given that this is Eastern Europe, perhaps some relics have been left behind, abandoned, or just plain forgotten. What do I mean by relics? World War II-era weaponry. Ridiculously rare, 1 spawn per map / server restart. That spawn? A knocked-out T-34 / Tiger / StuG III / KV / Panzer III somewhere. Now, the places it would spawn at would be ridiculously out of the way. I'm talking...sunken halfway into the shoreline of one of the lakes up north in Chernarus, or in the depths of the northern forests. The tank would act like a tent / military crate. Accessible via the "Gear" function, and would work on the same principle as the military loot spawns, but from a different loot pool altogether. Pistols and SMG's (Tokarev TT-33, Luger P08, Walther P38, PPSh-41, MP40, etc.) would be most common, with rifles (Kar98K, Mosin-Nagant 91/30, SVT-40, G43, StG-44) following close behind. The sniper / scoped variants of the aforementioned weapons would follow in rarity, and the ridiculously rare weapons would be along the lines of MG42, Panzerschreck, DP-28, etc. To make this even worth applying, each weapon (provided it spawned in the crate) would be included with ammo. 2-3 belts / magazines for everything automatic, 5-6 magazines / clips for the rifles and pistols, 3 or 4 rockets for the Panzerschreck. It would create a whole new objective in-game for everyone. Those weapons would be trophies to show off to your friends, paint a target on your back to that "Friendly" you just met, or give AS50 bandit snipers just another reason to shoot you. Provided these weapons will have been subjected to the elements for approximately 7 decades, a mechanic could be applied where you have to restore these weapons to working condition with a toolbox (and maybe some scrap metal). Old ammunition not being the most reliable, misfires could also happen, which a reload would fix at the cost of 1 ammo. Anyway, just my idea. I love antique weapons, so...yeah.

Is this car supposed to be functional?

    Got it. Thanks. Beans given.
  3. As you can see, from the 2 screenshots, I am overlooking the Stary Sobor military tent area. To my knowledge, the only vehicles that are supposed to spawn here are a Jeep and a Bus. (Also a helicopter, but we all know the situation with those at the moment). From what I can tell, it looks to be functional, yet upon attempting to interact with it, all of my efforts thus far have failed. I'd shoot it, to determine if the engine would light up, but I'm in Stary Sobor. Zombie hordes, anyone? Anyway, just curious if there's something I have to repair to get this thing working again / accessible somehow, or if I should leave it be and quit wondering about it. Also, I have no idea how one of my CZ550 mags (see upper right corner) has managed to accumulate a 19 round capacity, but I'm going to assume it's something to do with switching between it and my AKM (Formerly FAL). Not entirely positive.

You were kicked from the game.

^This. Have had pretty much the same problem.
  5. Huh. Thankfully, I've never run into one of those. Thanks for the heads-up, though.
  6. Just north of Prigorodky, if I remember correctly. We were picking up another friend from near the coast.
  7. The point of the game is to survive, no? Survival is easier when in groups. I expedited the process of getting back into a group. The end.
  8. I'm confused, why is this frowned upon?
  9. Alright. First of all, I'd like to give credit to the sniper who managed to kill my 3-man group from what I could only assume was an ungodly distance, judging from the fact that I dropped to the ground 1.5-2 seconds before hearing his rifle fire. Unrelated, perhaps, but it's the reason I respawned and am able to tell you the story for which I've created the topic. I respawned in Cherno, reasonably nearby a friend, and went out to the pier, checking what little there was out there for anything useful. We eventually linked up on the pier, and like an idiot, I was waving my flashlight around, because I didn't have any glowsticks / road flares. We got past the zombies on the way off the pier, when suddenly, I got shot. Again. At first, I didn't know where from, but it was a pretty short-range shot, and it was a one hit kill. So, yet again, I had to respawn. Upon respawn cycling a couple of times in an attempt to spawn where my friend still was (he hadn't been shot), I was successful. We made our way over to the crane at the Cherno docks we were fairly certain the shot had come from (my assailant had thrown a road flare from up there shortly before killing me), and prior to climbing the ladder in a desperate attempt for revenge, I noticed a corpse at the bottom of the ladder. Upon further inspection, his gear contained a CZ550, a good bit of medical supplies, and enough spare mags and food to get me a good distance. Long story short, dude shot me, then shortly after, fell off the tower, and now I have his gear. Whoever you are, thanks for the rifle. Had your misguided necessity to kill the unarmed not reared its ugly head, you might still be alive. But it did. And you're not. And I thank you for it.

    Global chat server?

Also want global chat. Unless you happen to have friends online or be in a teamspeak or something like that, it's boring having nobody in-game to interact with that isn't 70 feet away and damned near impossible to understand through the voice codec.

Visual cheating - found on youtube

    Recruit-difficulty server. It happens.

    Flare out!

Your accuracy is, quite frankly, astounding. 36 Kills, 34 headshots? I think I found someone I want to partner up with, lol.
