There is an even newer beta for arma out (95054), installing the latest BE and running this patch fixed BE error and crash to desktop. You need to run the BE file you download, not just drop it in a folder. 95054 is fairly stable for me since I've done this.

Steam version, was loading with six launcher which I had set to automatically close on loading Arma 2. Then I was logging into servers through the Arma 2 multiplayer menu. I installed 94945, and then 94997. Now it seems the only way I can get 94997 to launch is through six updater, and then I experience the battleeye error. I tried copying the latest battleeye to all folders involved but I'm not 100% sure I did this correctly.... Looking at the servers it seems to me that I am in the majority of people/servers that have not installed the new patch for one reason or another. Is it possible the 94997 patch needs to be scrapped all together? I guess it should be obvious by now that 94997 has some major fatal flaws.... or did I fail at life when trying to patch? :wacko:

i skipped an update not realizing there is a 94945 as well. try that one first, then apply the next one. currently i have figured this part out and I now am experiencing the battleeye ini failure....

Of course we all want to see MORE guns in the game but my idea is a modification to an existing weapon. I would like to see a vice in a factory, where I could hold a double barrel shotgun, while I saw off the barrels with a hacksaw, and this weapon should then be able to be holstered as a side arm as well as primary weapon. Also I believe it would be good to add the ability to empty both barrels of the shotgun whether sawed off or otherwise for maximum damage. And then of course there's this 4 barrel beauty from Phantasm 3....

So why don't you go play one of the 8973465 FPS games that only have PvP? The human race does not have priorities. If we all had sane priorities we would work together to improve life for all. Each individual human does however have priorities, self serving and often malignant. And look at how well this planet gets along! Such is life, such is Day Z. After being killed by people I have just saved, and been killed while asking "friendly?", the shoot first ask questions later policy is my new thought process. I even flanked a guy waiting to amush me once and had my crosshairs on the back of his skull and asked him to stand down 4 times before I said "final warning" and he DC'd. If you are carrying a weapon, and I get the drop, and can't safely run away, I will likely shoot you. I commited my first murder today. I felt a little better when I searched the body to find he had almost identical gear/weaponry. I'm glad someone actually helped you. I consider the encounters where players don't try to shoot me to be positive ones.

i've half come around to this thinking. if a guy is bare handed, and i have one bandage i won't attack. having any weapon in hand makes you fair game. i'm all for a humanity mechanic, but maybe it could be balanced. strengths and weaknesses for both.

Same. The graphics render and then fade to black, and render, and fade to black again, over and over and over.... I really wish people would update the servers more often as well.

Online game hackers must be a group of the biggest RL vaginas EVER. This is one of the main reasons I usually don't play PC games online, unless it's with friends. Consoles and handhelds have hacking, but it rarely gets to the scale that PC games get hacked.

I have only been playing for less than a week but I definitely noticed problems in the zombies programming with this update. In fact, I've seen most of the glitches people are reporting, first hand. I do have faith that the problems will be fixed. Someone who makes such an awesome game would not likely let it fall apart.

I didn't know I could put TeamSpeak on my phone.... thanks! This could save me some trouble.

I'm Will ingame and in RL, I'm 34 from NY and I've been a fan of survival horror since importing Japanese Biohazard for PS1. My younger brother told me of this game and I've been hooked for most of a week now. I would say that my experience with other players has been evenly split between helpful and hurtful. Soon I would like to try some Co-op with others (once I get teamspeak running properly). Awesome game, many thanks to all who worked on this game and the community/boards to help make it so great.

I have been murdered by a person I just protected. They ran a zombie line into a building I was in, I picked off the zombies, and he then picked up a gun on the floor and shot me dead. Personally, I don't get it. Why not live and let live?

I'm on that TeamSpeak now. Hoping for some friendlies to play with. 34, NY - not a big FPS guy but I have been a Resident Evil fan since the JPN Biohazard release on PS1....

if youre using six launcher, close the launcher once you connect to your first server. after that, use the ingame multiplayer to chose another server if you like. doing this solved many of my problems.

I bought Arma 2 Steam version so I could play day z. (Core 2 duo) I have been playing for a little over a day without many problems and then Arma 2 crashed. When I was trying to reconnect it seemed liked my internet connection had become worse for no reason which I could figure out. After trying to connect to a few different servers I got booted when I might of lagged too much. Now I can no longer even see any servers in six launcher. Is this a bug or have been banned for something I could not control? Please advise. Thank you
