I recently brought my 27 day mountain man down into civilization for the first time, and was promptly murdered by an unseen assailant. I then decided to try to make contact through side chat with other like minded regulars on this low pop server. I geared up with the basics and soon found myself near a construction site while people began searching for vehicles. Just as I am loading an engine, fuel tank, scarp, and glass into my inventory, one player proclaims that he has found a bus! I tell him that I have the parts, and we quickly meet up. Then we realize neither of us has tools! Again I reach out in chat, and another player says he has tools but would like a ride on the now "party bus". 2 more players on the server express interest in joining our group and we were 5. What to do? Raid NWA! Approaching from the South, just outside of Navoy Sobor when we are all instakilled by a hacker! We all respawn and sprint towards our remains to find.... the hacker left a box! I was able to get all of gear back, plus some extra items. Now we have EVERYTHING, and the bus is intact. What to do? Level buildings at NWA with satchel charges! ^^^Humming sound in audio. (Problem recently solved, likely a ground loop.) Friendlies DO exist!

Beans because I had to kill someone for the first time in nearly 2 months recently and the first thing I yelled on direct chat was, "ASSHOLE!". I gave the guy many warnings, and I did not shoot first.

I was going to punch myself in the face if someone didn't post this. As long as the ATV's are there, guaranteed tents inside the ATV's. Also, do whatever you want. Be friendly, be a bandit, sit in a field eating beans all day. It's your story. (Personally I play friendly.)

Friendlies are out there. Find them.

Fixed to match my experience. Longest survived lone wolf, 27 days, 1,189 zeds, 0 murders, 0 bandits, (3 very careful noob assists). When I came out of hiding, I decided to do it on a side chat server in hopes that there might be legit friendlies. With remarkable luck, I teamed up with 4 others, party bus style, and after a hacker death, and hacker redemption, we leveled 2 buildings at the NWA while launching a massive assault on the waves of zeds pouring from the spawn points at NWA. Now after almost 2 months of playing alone I have a small, loose group of friendlies, on a low ping server with an active hacker banning admin. I also believe another friendly camp is being built on the same server. I only shoot to kill bandits, and if attacked by survivor/hero, will shoot to maim (broken legs), and try to run.

Have fun getting stabbed in the back.

Perfect bandit fail, if i ever saw one. Sounds like you wouldn't be much of a bandit without side chat either, lol.

it occurred to me that this player was hacking all along, but I don't have any proof. All I know is we were blown up, and the bus was toast. I also think that maybe he wanted to prank the bus, and it ended up being a fatal gag.

Yesterday I lost my 27 day old character to an invisible assailant and decided to try to meet up with a few random players. Side chat was open, so I was able to confirm a few friendlies on the server. People start talking about finding vehicles, and when I find myself in a construction site I decide to pick up some car parts as a way to make friends faster. Soon one of the players finds a bus, and I let him know I have an engine, glass, and scrap. He picks me up from the firestation and then we drive to pick up 3 more friendlies. We decide to raid the NWA for loot and when we are only a minute away, hacker kills us all. Some of us are teleported to be killed again, i had waited a few mins to log back in, and when I did, I was far far away. In chatting with my new friends I learned that the bus was still where we died, and that the hacker had dropped an ammo box in the form of a medical supply box! I ran as fast as I could back to where we died, finally meeting up with everyone again. Now I have all of the gear I lost from my 27 day old character again, plus Camo clothes! We then pile back into the bus, and start towards NWA again. After someone asks what we should do I suggest blowing up the Antenna at green mountain with satchel charges. Nobody seemed to like this idea, but it was then suggested to blow up the Comm tower at NWA. We arrived there, and killed off the hordes of zombies approaching, while one of my new friends planted charges. After he ran back..... BOOM, the comm tower is now a pile of rubble! We returned to the ammo crate for more explosives, and leveled another building at NWA. Now we came back to the ammo crate to rearm. One of my fellow players was struggling with his mouse wheel options when... BOOM. He accidentally triggers the satchel charges in the bus, killing himself, myself, and another player. 2 players survived the blast. Now I spawned at Cap Golova, and it's 3am in RL, I should be in bed already. But I must run back to my body, and the supplies. Finally, after running blind, with no supplies, and dying of dehydration, I finally find our bodies and the ammo crate. I gear up once again and go hide under a tree before logging out. I have FRAPS footage fof when we blew up the Comm Tower, I may upload it tonight.

I want the whole globe. And you spawn in near your actual geographic location....

I've never had trouble finding an ALICE at least. People killing for backpacks are silly.

Nice. Zombies are important.

I too would like a list of Coalition affiliate servers. I guess I can filter for the Clan names listed in this thread, and hope some of them put their names in the server title....
