Oh yes I do. 1 thing I guarantee you have no clue about is what I've dealt with in the last 4+ years. Now please tell me you've followed the forum lurking here the whole time! If you make intelligent, informed, objective comments that lead to constructive ideas I will back you every time. If you essentially whine for half your post with little perspective for the process, I begin to tune you out... I'm sorry but for all the hours I have in DayZ the last thing I feel is ripped off. Oh hey look! The devs put something together for us to test over the weekend! Do you have any idea how much that makes me want to dad slap the kids who cried earlier in this thread and send them to bed without dinner (or DayZ)? Well it certainly implies that you haven't kept up to date doesn't it! Keep smoking whatever your smoking and when you get caught up to the project and also realize that you aren't surrounded by mindless fan boys, then maybe you'll make a post that isn't full of what someone else said one time in twitch chat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fuck yeah, devs!! Hi Chris. You have no fucking idea what it's like dealing with wave after wave of ignorant whining idiots for the last 4 1/2 years. They come onto this forum acting like they deserve equal say but then show their intense ignorance almost immediately. The people complaining in this thread are CHILDREN. If you have so many issues with DayZ and the course and delays of the development path PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LEAVE. The community is only toxic because of ignorance and CoD kiddies. Ignorance perpetuated by entitled, whiny, impatient, unappreciative, CHILDREN. I've been waiting my whole life for this fucking game and have had more enjoyment playing with and contributing to DayZ development than any other game in over 35 years of gaming! We have an awesome group of regulars in these build threads and it would be advantageous for the newer members to LURK MOAR and figure out what is considered acceptable and constructive to the conversations here. "DayZ community is toxic!" WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH What a bunch of parroted bullshit. The DayZ community is what you make of it and you've just shown how impressionable, ignorant, and toxic you can be, congratulations.

DayZ is a decade long project and I believe most of the devs are quite happy with that if it makes an infamous game into an epic polished masterpiece with countless mods.

While the guys tone was shitty, we can try to be the better internet citizen. I know I can come down harsh on ignorance but it's usually with at least some effort to inform and a level of civility. I do appreciate your passion to contribute in a constructive manner Wyld and also appreciate people keeping the important threads "clean". Can I interest you in an avatar?

It's basically that simple boy n' girls. Especially if you have the element of surprise, this approach is the obvious way to say you're willing to do many other things than trade bullets at super sonic speeds. I wish just once someone would leave me naked, tied up, and close to death, needing to loot and heal from nothing....

If you're keeping score, I never complain about KoS as it relates to experimental. I had a neutral encounter right after being KoS'd. I was a little glib with the guy but I did tell him to avoid Gorka police station and then politely asked him to stop following. As far as I'm concerned it's basically the same no matter where you're playing. There are many good ways to avoid KoS. I also haven't died from anything but being sniped in a very very long time. I watch people pretty often, and move the opposite direction.....

Tried some melee with infected and things seemed to work fairly well on my end. Ended up at Gorka police station again and this time came out with a CR handgun with 2 mags and short pump action shotgun. Hunted some cows and then ran North to hunker down and heal a bit. IMT caught up with me at the end and contributed his steaks to the menu. So fugly.... Bye for now.

Was KoS'd by a naked-headless-no gun carrying camper in the Gorka police station. I heard no shot, I had no gun out, they made no effort to interact. You sir are nutless, gutless, champion of boring shit. Congratulations. Enjoy the.... apples?

Played about 4 hours with emuthreat, GaryWalnuts, and starvingart. Meeting up with art we began a tour of Tisy base and then met up with Gary and finished looting there. Gary, art, and I arrived at Sinistok and I immediately heard some deer. I was able to track them over the ridge North of Sinistok and drive them back towards the apple orchard where Gary and art shot them. emuthreat joined us just at the conclusion of the hunt and we began to cook. After a good meal we set off to see the changes at Myshkino. Very significant! We picked off a few infected for some no scope fun before leaving and ended up using more ammo than we found for our AKM's.... So a quick pop over to Sosnovka was our best last chance to restock before logging. Just when we were looking for a spot to log we caught the interest of one last infected. 3 of us surrounded it and pounded it down in short order.

i.e. in the mod I would go to Berezino docks for car parts. When vehicles and base building are in you will find all of the "useless" loot you used to pass up is now desirable. That's when region control will come into play more and you will likely find reasons to visit every quadrant of the map and reasons to return to the coast. You never paid attention to where more screwdrivers spawn until you need one....

All things regarding loot and loot distribution are a work in progress. Loot tables and distribution can and will be tweaked with no update needed on the experimental branch. *If you play long enough to loot everywhere you will eventually find most things. This patch has had collision problems between old and new physics which has been patched for your enjoyment at least once already. I believe infected inventory is working as intended but can very tricky or near impossible to access due to clipping into map geometry and map elements. This is the very first iterations of a brand new feature which will see improvements (and works well initially IMO). Do not stay on the coast long in this build. Also, for a long time there has been a bug where you can spam large piles of apples. But, picking 5 apples, enough to move on, doesn't take long. You can even stuff yourself with red berries if you are patient and then run all the way North. Growing food from seeds isn't difficult either... varieties of plants will likely increase. Plants and trees will be world containers in the future. This is 100% intended. You should not be able to follow restarts to farm loot.......... Please read through the MANY past status reports to help you get caught up to what is essentially 4 1/2 years of DayZ development discussion.
