I think I might have played with this guy in BF3.

Kinect integration didn't make that list?

Okay, so seeing all these posts about realism, I thought of some other things to make the game more realistic. 1) Having to go to the bathroom a while after eating or drinking. 2) Kinect integration, so that every motion in the game we have to do. (No more KB+M controls.) 3) Get rid of text chat, as it breaks immersion. 4) We should only be able to run for about 30 seconds, as we are just normal civilians. 5) Any sort of voice chat will attract every zombie that can hear you. 6) No more disconnecting, because that's not realistic. 6a) If you disconnect your character dies. (You can't disconnect in real life.) 7) Get rid of any game menus, as they are unrealistic. (Replace inventory system with just looking in your bag and guessing.) 8) No more zooming as that is unrealistic. Feel free to add in any more suggestions you have.

Yeah, that happens every time I see that model.

I found a weapon rack today in one of the medical/military camps, and I found a rack of AKs. Now, having seen these in the ArmA 2 campaign, I was super-excited, as I thought this meant that I would finally have a decent weapon. I run in to pick up an AK, and I realize that I can't pick them up. Anyone else disappointed/fooled by this?

The version thing in Six Launcher isn't the DayZ version, it's the ArmA 2 Beta version.

I finally got it because of DayZ, but I had been looking at it for quite a while.

I say they should give us something like an hatchet or a knife (or any other melee weapon) to protect from the zombies, but not a gun, as it would just turn into a FFA. Or let us use our fists to beat the crap out of the zombies.
