What would be fucking awesome, is if you could fast switch primary weapon to melee!

Is the plan to get regular bug fix releases out for 1.7.7 (NOT FEATURES!!!), or are we likely to be waiting a while. Patching is half the fun.

Not sure if this has been reported and unfortunately I don't know how to recreated (I do know roughly what time it happened and so facopter is welcome to try pull it out of my log files) but I had an issue where an entire player was dupped infront of my eyes, on my own server. We were both on teamspeak. I was able to loot the body (exact same loadout as my friend). Studying the body said it was unknown killed by unknown. The body was floating in the air, upright. Happened in the supermarket in Berizino. Food for thought. It was on one of the later beta patches, so could be related. 105785.

Really enjoying the fact that the game now poses a challenge around Zeds - I've certainly had to up my game. Not to fussed about the infection situation, more antibiotics would be quite welcome. Getting knocked down by Zeds constantly is infuriating though, no matter where you seem to go, if you pull agro (which is now easy) and they attack, straight to the floor where they fk you up good and proper. Can't decide if this is happening too often or not?

Servers running the new community build 1.7.7 There are now a selection of public hive and private hive servers with the new community release, even though it has not yet hit Steam. I am sure someone can provide a link to the files for clients to manually install, below. Some of the first servers to run this are supported by the dayz4linux project, created by facopter, which has now been running since around April 2012. Please enjoy these servers (see attachment)

It looks like it is now on steam.

Server locks 5mins before scheduled restarts, and unlocks after. Server restart times in MOTD.

Same thing happened to me, I was killed, I just banned a hacker, probably the one.

No worries, I should also now point out that DZVS is open for joining and management by any mature gamers and our TS3 server is now open at TS3.DZVS.CO.UK B)

Sorry for late reply! DZVS is pretty quite atm, all the old members are inactive but I am keeping everything going! I am about to make the website easier to navigate and relax the sign up, perhaps you would like to run things?

I would just like to confirm that DZVS are now accepting mature members of any age in order to try and kick start the community back into action. Basically I cannot be active and online to lead DZVS but we have a fantastic server UK172 and regular players. Please get involved and sign-up, all the infrastructure is there for use!

Hi there, sorry for the delay in response. I have just updated the server as I noted a new BETA patch came out yesterday that I'd not previously noticed. If you can please re-test and report back. I have tested and can access with no errors. Cheers and enjoy UK 172!

Howdy, IMF2000 Dayz Community 1.7.4.4 beta tester etc. I recently changed jobs and server moved IP. Who is the best person to speak to about getting it updated these days? Please drop me a PM, cheers.

Tonight (07/08/2012 Time: 23:30) we are aiming to give away the following vehicles to groups on UK 172: - Bus - HiLux - Red Lada Basically we would like to share them out with groups who will make our server their home. We would like these to go to organised friendly or neutral groups of 4 or more players. We will give all 3 away to a large organised group or alternatively split and give to 3 groups of 3/4 etc. Register your interest below and we will select at random. If we don't get the right interest below, we will probably abandon these vehicles in Chernarus fuelled and ready to go (tonight) and it is down to you to secure them first. Why? There is no catch. We would like you to continue to play on UK 172, make it your home. You will be allowed to take the vehicles away and will not be hunted (by us) for them. We really don't want them back. They are all over the map in the open at the moment. Not aware of any stashed. IRC is monitored but not real time, you best to idle there and see the response come in after.
