    I have a better question, why should admins provided servers for a bunch of ungrateful retards when all we get is shit ? Never hear anyone saying "oh yeah that's a really great server and the admin is cool.

    How exactly ? i just buried 2 in the ground on my server (this server has just been wiped of all tents and shit) and every helli crash is constantly respwaning high end gear... its only a matter of time before we have a problem again. And also considering the damage, the 10 round mag and the scope, M107 is the most OP weapon, the noobs think the As50 is "the best" (meaning OP) sniper rifle, just isnt the case at all.

    Bigger maps and much better graphics on PC, but I still think what Dice/EA has done the BF series sucks ass.

    That's the attraction of Dayz, it feels hardcore and not dumbed down in any way, for the last 10 years or more games have been getting dumber and dumberer. That's why BF vets puked at BF3 I hope Arma 3 lives up to expectation in this regard.

    Nice to see a few BF players, I know a lot of guys stopped playing and went to Dayz. Some of my favourites were Duke Nukem 3D, all Quake games, Wargasm, Tribes 2, Half-life1/2, Goldeneye, Turok, Unreal and Unreal tournament, AVP 2, SOF 1+2, Max Payne 1+2, Doom 3, Return to castle wolfenstein, Jedi knight 2, FEAR 1+ 2, Crysis, Killzone 2 Battlefield 2, BF 2142, BFBC2. Never really got into CS

    You mean OHK on civilian transports, it's just as bad as shooting unarmed survivors.

    Actually there was no issue in BC2 with the USAS12 and the only problem with that weapon in BF3 was the frag rounds, complaints there were completely justified.

    In all the posts I've read on this topic not once have I heard a single valid reason why these weapons should remain in the game, when I ask for a reason the question is avoided and the discussion changes to how realistic the 50cal damage model is. All I can think is dayz is full of FPS noobs.

    Still waiting...... Not one single good argument. I have a 107 in me backpack right now, I'm thinking about dumping it in a lake because i just don't need it to survive, space in the pack is more important.

    As50 and M107 need to be replaced with M40 and L115A3, it makes absolute sense. I will keep saying this- There is no single threat in dayz great enough to justify these weapons being here, all Dayz vehicles are defenceless, vehicles are not a valid reason for having the AS50 unless Rocket is gonna add APC's and tanks which i doubt. Alt+F4 is not a reason either. These rifles are acceptable in a military sim, in Dayz they are OP noob crutches.
