with this community project, can users download them files whenever there are new changes or do we still have to wait until its an official release? We are keeping our server updated to whenever Bliss releases a patch as well.

Well there is a few rules that you need to follow in order to host DayZ server. Get the proper information from your host, and if he isnt responding, well get another host. You cannot host on your own hardware at home, needs to be a dedicated server with a very good bandwidht limit.

Self-Defense is shooting somebody WHILE they are shooting at you. You can shoot someone within 30 sec or soe after being shot. Going back later then that isnt self-defense, just revenge :)

Havent read ALL of the threa, so my appologizes if this alreayd is on the table: Couldnt the Knife that we use to gut animals, also be used to collect pieces of wood out in the forrest to collect stuff to make a fire? Dont have to be a giant bonefire, but a smaller fire just to keep yourself warm?

I agree the levels could go down, but it shouldnt be able to kill a character while offline. That makes it impossible to be away due to work or such and i dont like that idea. Low levels yes, and its forces us to find food when logging back on if we dont have reserves in our backpack.

Hello, Whenever i suceed in getting into an server after waiting for the endless "Waiting for server response" i end up in the water far from land. Still with my stats from the previous session and i have no idea what to do... Any ideas?
