Servers persist in using the communty ban list, knowing many cheating players will not have access to them. But the ban list is no longer managed, and thus many players merely suspected, grandfathered-in, or placed onto the list for whatever reason given, will be stuck on this list forever, despite never cheating. What can a banned player do to get access to most servers again if their ban appeal is never seen by the absent administrators of the Google.doc? (it's been like this for many months).

This. My friend and I made it to the NW airfield and I snagged one of these, and I didn't know how rare it was.

Naming conventions have been changed. There are hundreds of 'US' servers now. Meanwhile, I can't find my Seattle 61 server with tents. Wish I could remember their actual name. edit: to the guy above me, I think Seattle 61 is now US 682. Googled "DayZ Seattle 61" and joined the IP, as another guy in a thread suggested to do.

Any chance you could share how this shortcut of yours works? :P I figure I'd like to give this a shot, though just for storage... I think we'd be able to just purchase the OA expansion for $15 and run DayZ, so it's even cheaper!

What do you mean "cmon"? Some of us have set up camps pretty deep into the wilderness and have yet to see a map boundary, how would I know that exists out there (besides, perhaps, checking the in-game map, but can't do so right now)? But I'm glad to know my tents are safe.
