Easy fix, just create a piece of code that automatically kick's someone when a script is injected into the game to spawn items. They hit the script and it's instant ban/kick.

Guy disconnected on me and my friend today, his buddy not so lucky killed him with a pistol, then a server hopper spawned on top of me, killed him too went from been terribly geared to very well geared in about 10minutes. was awesome.

Hmm, a stand-alone version would probably be a total re-write of code anyway, well im sure some would be saved. Also im aware that saying it would be awesome is not "YEHA LETS GO EUPHORIA" but it's better than "Fuck you im staying with Arma Engine" Also, Rage engine is not terrible and i was not speaking about rage i was speaking about Euphoria for character animation. also, none of us know what rocket is planning, Rocket could make this game on a different engine and just let Bohemia supply the game, they will not tell him he can't do it, that would be retarded and cost them huge sums of money, equally they are probably very inclined to support him in his own development studio where he can focus solely on dayz and run it on whatever engine he wants.
